Featuring exposed beams and wooden furniture throughout, the property retains much of its original charm which makes it feel like home from the moment you step inside. When you’re craving a homecooked meal, the spacious kitchen is equipped with everything you’ll need, with the dining table located just around the corner for family mealtimes. The first bedroom features a zip-and-link king-size bed, which can be made up as a twin on request and which has French doors which open out to look over the wildlife-rich pond; a tranquil place for a morning coffee. Up on the first floor is the second bedroom which is a double, with windows that open out onto a quaint balcony with a table and chairs where you can soak in the sights. This room also boasts an en-suite bathroom and access to a mezzanine reading area.
Take a trip into the town of Llandeilo (4 miles) to experience the colourful local culture which offers up a great selection of local eateries, from pubs and cafes to fish and chip shops and restaurants. Head to Hafren Forest (13 miles) for a day out surrounded by natural beauty in the form of majestic waterfalls, fascinating wildlife and adrenaline-inducing biking trails. Here you can see the source of the River Severn and embark on a stretch of the Severn Walk which stretches for 210 miles in total through mountainous landscapes alongside Britain’s longest river.
