Holiday accommodation in Montgomery

Come to Montgomery for a cottage break in Mid Wales. Formerly the county town of Montgomeryshire (which is now part of Powys), the town, with its Georgian architecture, has a population of around 1,250 people. It is named after the castle of Roger de Montgomery, who was originally from Normandy, which was built in the early 13th century; the parish church also dates from this time. The town, which lies just 3 miles from the Wales-England border and Offa's Dyke path, has the Old Bell Museum to chart its history. The Montgomery Wildlife Trust owns and manages the Roundton Hill National Nature Reserve which lies to the east of Montgomery.

Our holiday cottages in Montgomery enable you to discover all of this and more, and we have a collection ranging from romantic retreats right up to accommodation for large groups. Find your perfect Welsh holiday home among the cottages above, or broaden your search by browsing all of our Welsh Border cottages.
