What a beautiful place! We have been North Wales with our family for a week - the aquarium in Rhyl well worth a visit with children, fishing for crabs, kite flying, Zip World all fab - and the views amazing. Cottage is just so lovely we have been very happy. Thank You
We spent the week exploring North Wales and Stabal Bodran was an excellent base to do so! Views are spectacular and the cottage was so clean and cosy. We would love to return in the near future.
Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Stabal Bodran cottage...just immaculate. A great base for seeing the area, particularly enjoyed a day at Anglesey. Fresh scones on arrival was such a lovely treat
Had a perfect stay at Stabal Bodran. Es, Iwan and Gwen were amazing hosts full of great recommendations. We were lucky with the weather and highly recommend visiting Portmeirion, Conwy & Colwyn Bay beach on warm sunny days. The cottage had everything we could have needed, including delicious scones. We'll definitely miss seeing the calves each day. We'd love to visit again xx
Had an amazing 2 weeks at Stabal Bodran, lucky with the weather, only a little rain here and there. Cottage is immaculate and very comfortable & so peaceful. Can recommend The Black Lion at Llanfairtalhaiarn and The Old Stag at Llangernyw. Gwen's eggs were lovely! took some home too. Will definitely be back
This cottage & our stay has been so beautiful and peaceful. After a couple of difficult months in lockdown, this has been the perfect break. From the Snowdonia mountains to the beautiful beaches in North Wales, the views have been breathtaking. The views from the cottage are picturesque - looking out of each window definitely gave me the 'Alice in the wonderland vibes!' Truly a hidden gem - would love to visit again!
Had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage. Enjoyed discovering North Wales.
Amazing stay at cottage, and amazing views. Leaflets in drawer of places to go and visit amazing towns. Plenty to do. We are sad to be leaving, we loved it that much. We will be back. Owners were amazing!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We received a lovely warm welcome from the owners and the scones were delicious. Stabal Bodran is gorgeous, beautiful and a much needed break especially in these strange times! We enjoyed days out to Betws y Coed, Llandudno, Colwyn Bay, Conwy - all recommended. The farm walk was great, if you get a chance to do it, do it. Would definitely love to come back. Thank you so much x
This cottage is absolutely the most cutest place to stay, it's a hidden gem! The views around the cottage and from it's windows make you feel like you're part of a fairytale wonderland. Definitely recommend but need a strong car to get you up to its location as the road can be a bit rough.
Absolutely amazing property, we had such a nice time we didn't want to come home. Lots to do and see around you and cottage is a home from home.
Thank you for the most amazing and peaceful stay! The weather has been beautiful apart from the rain on our last day. We enjoyed BBQ's in the garden most evenings. Everyone we came across on the Farm were friendly. We enjoyed walks on the farm and surrounding areas. We went to the Hawk & Buckle, a couple of miles up the road for Sunday lunch which was lovely. We took a trip to Bala lake and did some kayaking. We went to Zip World and done the Quarry Karts. We took our bikes on route around Snowdonia. As you can tell we love our adventures! We would both love to return to your beautiful cottage and bring friends. Thank you again for being the best hosts! x x
Thank you to the owners for a lovely stay. Very comfortable and well equipped cottage in a spectacular, beautiful area. What more could we have asked for? We enjoyed several walks both locally and further afield in The Vale of Clwyd. We also visited Plas Mawr at Conwy - well worth a visit but you need to pre-book. We had a couple of spectacular drives through Snowdonia and enjoyed stopping off at Betws-y-Coed and Porthmadog. Beaumaris and Conwy are definitely worth a visit We would both love to return x x
We were so excited to be the first guests to stay in the gorgeous Stabal Bodran! We booked last minute and so glad we did! We were lucky to pick a week during heatwave, with beautiful sunshine all week! We enjoyed BBQ's in the garden and a walk to the Black Lion. Olivia's in the village is also worth visiting for breakfast. We'd recommend a trip to Betws-Y-Coed - Olif Tapas is lovely. Conwy and Beaumaris are well worth a visit if you like browsing the shops and castles. Beach wise - we enjoyed Colwyn Bay. We also drove to Dinas Dinlle which is a little quieter and very picturesque. Thanks to the owners for a wonderful stay! It's just what we needed. We'll definitely be back! x
