The cottage is ideal for exploring Snowdonia mountains and coast. The village of Llandrillo has a local pub, the Dudley Arms, plus 2 great places to eat - the Berwyn Restaurant has fabulous reviews and is known for great home-cooked food, especially the desserts, and of course Tyddyn Llan which is in The Good Food Guide and has a well deserved Michelin Star.

A most stunning location and Aled the caretaker was so friendly and helpful. We would recommend everyone go there to experience this wonderful cottage and all the luxury it has to offer. Truly fabulous. We are already booking for next year!Mrs Martina Smullen - 30th October 2017
Cilan Farmhouse is possibly the best kept rental property we have ever stayed in. It was spotless when we arrived and little touches like the bathroom bits and robes made for a lovely luxurious stay. The farmhouse happily accommodated two families with 4 adults and six children and it was so nice to have complete sets of crockery, cutlery etc and a dining table and kitchen that made cooking and eating for 10 a pleasure. The games room and hot tub were great fun and good for keeping 6 children from 7 to 14 entertained. We loved it and will be returning!Mrs H Pattinson - 24th April 2017
The farmhouse is absolutely beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stayTracey K - 12th June 2015
The house was fantastic. We hope to return in the future.Cath - 22nd August 2014
As the first people to stay in Cilan House we found everything to be brand new and absolutely spotless. It was exactly what we were looking for: a large converted farmhouse in a quiet, rural Welsh setting with plenty of room for our family and friends to come and stay with us while we visited from Australia. Everything in the house has been done to a very high standard and there are lots of quality touches to make you feel at home. Like the welcome hamper which included eggs, wine, organic milk and bread as well as the usual tea, coffee and sugar. Individual dressing gowns in each room are also a nice touch. The house is really wonderful with a comfortable lounge area opening onto the massive garden and riverside bank where the sheep graze. The kitchen is also large and well stocked for a longer stay. All the rooms have been converted to make them warm and comfortable with all the mod cons. I could go on and on as I really loved staying here and still miss the beautiful silence of the countryside and the wonderful evening light that bathes the garden in the late afternoon. Despite being close to the other cottages it is very private. And of course the hot tub is fantastic, especially for relaxing in the early evening when the kids have gone to bed! Aled the handyman on-site is also really friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay close to Snowdonia and wanting to have a relaxing time in Wales.Alison P - 26th July 2014
