North East Wales Events - September & October
The summer holidays may be over but there is still plenty going on in the North East region of Wales.

Now in its fourth year this annual literary event is a must for all budding writers and novelists. Workshops will be led by renowned writers and this year there will be a series of activities for young people which also include themes of directing and screenwriting. There will also be live music in the afternoons and a craft fair showcasing many local craftsman and artists.
Corwen Walking Festival

With guided walks on both days of festival, around the town itself, into the beautiful surrounding countryside and up onto the Berwyn Ridge there is plenty of opportunity for walkers of all abilities to enjoy time outdoors. With evening skills talks, a range of evening entertainment and an opportunity to browse the Cotswold Outdoor sale event, the festival is a must for all walking enthusiasts!
The Good Life Experience

The Good Life Experience is a festival with a difference. Created by Cerys Matthews and Caroline & Charlie Gladstone, the owners of the estate, to fire up passion for the very best of the great outdoors culture and local produce. This year's lineup has yet to be announced but as last year the event attracted Ben Fogle and Thomasina Miers to name just a couple, you are not going to be disappointed!
Mold Food Festival
★ Saturday 16th to Sunday 17th September 2017 ★ New Street Car Park, Mold CH7 1NZ ★
It's eleventh and biggest year yet, the Mold Food Festival is promising to be the best yet. Over 130 purveyors of gourmet goodies along with a cookery theatre headlined by acclaimed celebrity chef Nick Nairn! There will also be live music, children's cookery school and food science lab and art and craft stalls. A free park & ride service from Clwyd Theatre Cymru will take you right to the heart of the action.

Conwy Feast is a celebration of all things food with plenty of Welsh food producers to suit all tastes, from The Mushroom Garden with fresh exotic mushrooms and a range of mushroom based seasoning to The Dragons Food company for fiery and fruity jam & cheese offerings. Cooking demonstrations from TV chefs and a live music marquee will make this a weekend to remember.
Wales Rally GB
★ Thursday 26th to Sunday 29th October 2017 ★ Route all around North & Mid Wales ★
The World Rally Championship is one of the most challenging motor sports competitions out there and 15 countries each host a round. Wales again is a much anticipated stage and it is always a great occasion with plenty of opportunity to see the cars in actions around the roads and to get a closer glimpse of the cars and their drivers in the remote service areas for the different stages.
