We were a group of friends and really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean and beds were all comfortable. We loved the hot tub morning, noon and night! Very cosy in the living room in the evening with the log burner. Had a trip into Llangollen - great independent shops there. I think we might be back!

Great place to stay if you are looking for some peace and quiet. Lovely converted barn with all the things you need and very clean. Loved the hot tub and the views. It is quite secluded so you do have to drive everywhere. We had young children with us so didn't really get to enjoy any proper walks but sure they would be great around there. We ate at the hand in the village on 3 occasions where the food was amazing, but the kitchen has everything you need to cook for a family too. We visited Chirk castle & Erddig both lovely properties about 15 to 20 miles away and Barmouth about 50 miles for a day at the seaside. Levi & all staff at the hand were very friendly & arranged for a taxi to take us back to the cottage from the village one night so that's an option if you don't want to walk back. The walk from the barn to the village takes about 40 minutes but its a beautiful walk with stunning views. We would definitely recommend this cottage lovely people, lovely welcome pack, accommodation & countryside. Hide

The property is far better than the pictures on the website. The ceilings in the bedrooms are very high so nice and airy. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. Please remember that is self-catering accommodation in a remote location so please ensure you take everything you need for your stay. There are shops just outside the village to stock up. You have fantastic views from the back of the cottage where your hot tub is situated. Added bonus of a stream and small waterfall also which is very relaxing. I cannot express how much my friends and I enjoyed our stay. The cottage was lovely and clean. The owner was extremely helpful and very nice. I would highly recommend a visit if you want peace and quiet. Hide
