Description
This luxury detached converted coach house provides a very special holiday retreat. Situated within the 100 acre Pentrehobyn Estate, the Coach House has completed a full programme of refurbishment and has many luxury and designer touches. It sleeps eight people but the stunning double height Grand Atrium, an impressive galleried room with a vaulted ceiling, creates a wonderful feature lounge and is also ideal for hosting a larger numbers of guests for special events such as birthday and wedding celebrations. Double doors from here open into the large walled garden, a perfect retreat, and also ideal for a marquee if required (additional costs apply). The market town of Mold is 1 mile away, Chester 16 miles, Llangollen 17 miles and Liverpool 23 miles.
The focal point of the Coach House is the huge Grand Atrium, and from this the property is split into two sides, with the lounge, small kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom on one side, and the large family kitchen, dining room and a further two en suite bedrooms on the other side. This makes it ideal for larger mixed groups or families.
Leading from the atrium is the spacious lounge which has a large log burning stove, comfortable armchairs and sofas, a flatscreen TV with HD receiver, DVD and stereo CD player with iPod dock. Also to this side of the property is a small kitchen and ground floor cloakroom. A large oak open staircase leads up to the two delightful bedrooms, one with a sofa and chair and both with super king size beds which can be split into singles if preferred. There is a smart family bathroom with shower over the bath, basin and WC.
Leading from the other side of the atrium is a light and airy dining room with a large wooden table and chairs for 8 with attractive views across the walled garden. The large kitchen, a real feature of the property and a chef's delight, is equipped to the highest standard with hand painted wooden cabinets, limestone flooring, oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, American fridge/freezer and a separate utility room houses another dishwasher, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. A stone staircase leads from the atrium to two en suite bedrooms, again both with super king size beds that can be split into singles and each with unusual round windows with views over the walled garden and surrounding countryside.
The Coach House has the benefit of a beautiful and fully enclosed walled garden with a large lawn ideal for croquet and ball games. There is plenty of parking to the front of the property. Guests can also enjoy the full-size table tennis. Please see 'Local Area' for further details of the surrounding area and of optional activities available.
