Enjoy a relaxing, 5 star break at this Aberystwyth self catering holiday accommodation with a hot tub - a traditional, spacious farmhouse with plenty of character. Finished to a high standard, it enjoys a peaceful, rural setting yet within a short travelling distance of Aberystwyth and all its amenities including cafes, restaurants and bars, shops and a promenade. Pet-friendly, 4 bedrooms (two with ensuites) and two living rooms - one with a woodburner and Welsh dresser and the other with open fire.

Sitting Room - Sitting room has exposed beams and an inglenook fireplace with wood burner. Furnished with the original welsh dresser and grandmother clock, TV and two large sofas - ideal for relaxing in front of the fire at the end of your busy day.
Parlour / Snug Sitting Room - The parlour or snug room has an open fire and is an ideal room to sneak away for a quite half hour to read your book or let the children have their own room to play or watch TV.

Grounds are enclosed at the rear patio area which has iron furniture with seating for 8, a gas barbeque and a hot tub. There is also a walled covered well located in rear garden with a path leading around to a large lawned area to front of house with views across the valley.

Aberystwyth offers a wide range of amenities, including cafes, restaurants, pubs, shops and supermarkets. Amongst the best places to eat locally are The Farmers in Llanfihangel y Creuddyn (1.5 miles), Bara Vin in front of the sea in Aberystwyth (5 miles) and Hive on the Quay and Harbourmaster in Aberaeron (19 miles). The Farmers in Llanfihangel y Creuddyn is also the nearest village pub.
Your Aberystwyth self catering holiday accommodation offers a great base for exploring Mid and West Wales, a trip to the seaside or for visiting the university and the National Library of Wales. The area offers excellent walks with an abundance of wildlife including coastal birds and red kites. Nant yr Arain Visitor Centre, one of the premier Mountain Biking centres in Wales, is just an 8 mile drive, where you can also watch the red kites being fed. Venture on a deep underground tour of The Silver and Lead Mines at Llywernog (9 miles) or sit back and enjoy a scenic journey on the famous steam train through the Vale of Rheidol from Aberystwyth to the beautiful village of Devil’s Bridge.

Rheidol Cycle Trail – This 17 mile trail leads you from Devil’s Bridge, through the Rheidol Valley down to the harbour in Aberystwyth, mainly along quiet back roads and dedicated cycle routes. 6.5 miles
Nant yr Arian Mountain Biking Centre - one of the premier Mountain Biking centres in Wales. Featuring the Continental Tyres Syfydrin Trail, one of the most scenic wilderness trails in the UK. 8 miles from cottage.
Rheidol Riding Centre has full-size floodlit indoor and full-size floodlit outdoor riding arenas, a showjumping and cross-country course, and fantastic trekking around the Rheidol Valley. 3 miles
Sheltered sand and shingle beach at the popular seaside town of Aberystwyth. During the height of summer donkeys, a bouncy castle and 'tea cup' rides along the prom ensure that there is plenty of entertainment for children. 6 miles.
