Ideally located to be away from it all but in easy reach of lots of interesting things to see and do, this perfectly appointed cottage was a perfect choice for our Easter week away, and a first holiday for our dog, Brooklyn. She loved it so much she refused to leave the cottage on the final morning and had to be dragged and carried to the car!

Lovely location and perfect cottage. Very well equipped, spacious and large enclosed garden that our dog loved. Had a wonderful week, hosts were superb. Great little extras like the dog shower and laundry room were a bonus after a long day's walk.

Onnen is a lovely looking property in a great location for exploring the area around Aberystwyth which has forests, beaches, dunes and hills. With less light pollution you can see the stars really well at night too. Pros include the setting and a high spec property. Cons were small niggles really; the pod coffee machine did not work, there was no iRead morece tray, drainer or brush for washing up (though there is a dishwasher anyway) and there is no drawer storage in the bedrooms, just hanging space. Also, the hot tub temp was locked at 37 degrees which wasn't quite optimal for me. We would really have appreciated a shade on the bedroom skylights also. Too bright in the early morning! Hide

Lack of blinds in the property. Means that we got woken up about 5am every day. Also only one blind on any windows downstairs; means that the sun gets in your eyes and get reflections in the TV. Apart from that location is great, cottage is very good and overall facilities very good.
