Property code: OC-WAN383

Cosy and quaint to the core, this characterful dog friendly cottage converted from a former stable building adjoining the owner’s farmhouse is neatly nestled outside a peaceful village, just moments from the bustling seaside of Aberystwyth, perfect for keen coastal and countryside adventurers looking to explore the beauty of West Wales.

After discovering why West Wales is so irresistible, retire to this characterful reverse-level former stable building to enjoy wonderful views from the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner on the first floor that beckons you to relax on the comfy sofas beside the warmth of the wood burner-effect electric fire. Make memorable moments with your family or friends whilst watching your favourite programmes on the Smart TV, blue ray player or enjoy listening to the radio/CD player. Head along the timber floorboards to the kitchen to rustle up a locally sourced feast to be enjoyed around the farmhouse-style table cutely nestled beneath the characterful exposed beams. When you can’t resist the call of bedtime any longer, you have one beautifully presented bedroom on this level, plus a further two bedrooms on the ground floor to retire to where you shall find a shower room and cloakroom with a WC on the ground floor. Enjoy wonderful rural views with glimpses of the nearby coastline as you dine alfresco on the patio or watch the children explore the large, enclosed lawn.

Perched in a breathtaking corner of West Wales, the charming seaside town of Aberystwyth is steeped in Georgian and Victorian character and is home to a high street filled with independent shops showcasing the best local produce this area has to offer. Enjoy a lazy afternoon exploring the mile-long Victorian promenade just under 6 miles away before climbing Constitution Hill at the end of North Beach to catch the most magnificent sunsets across Cardigan Bay or ride the quaint cliff railway (6 miles) to reach the summit. A playground for outdoor activities, visit Bwlch Nant yr Arian Visitor Centre (9 miles) which offers a range of waymarked trails for walkers and a purpose-built mountain-biking track.
