Reviews

Exceptional quality cottage, visited many cottages over the last 12 months and this is by best the best standard. Nearby walks and facilities very easily accessible and most places very dog friendly. We arrived late due and we’re still welcomed by the lovely people who own the cottage who can not do enough to make your stay such a great experience. We will definitely return.

Location

The cottage is the old local forge and adjoins what was once the main farmhouse. It is on the main road through the small village of Brechfa that includes a pub and a community shop. Brechfa is a mecca for mountain bikers and offers superb views along several tracks and trails. The trails include Gorlech Trail, designed by Rowan Sorrell, Raven Trail and the Derwen Trail. These trails offer a great mix of black graded runs and also some trails great for novices and even families.
