Set amongst the rolling fields and vibrant scenery of rural Pembrokeshire, this characterful stone cottage provides the perfect place to escape to for a South Wales break. Whether you’re hoping to get stuck into audacious water sports and satisfying hikes or simply looking to gently peruse some local towns, this holiday let offers a fantastically central location for exploring all four corners of this coastal National Park. Complete with a single attic bedroom that’s made for a child, this accommodation makes a great choice for any small family. It also works exceptionally well for a couple hoping to enjoy a little bit of extra space in which to spread out.

The main living space sits beneath a vaulted ceiling with wooden beams and generous skylights, an extremely cheery place to spend mornings, evenings or any other time of day! The kitchen, although compact, is well-equipped for all kinds of self-catering and sits beside a dining table that’s set for three. You also have the option of stepping outside and enjoying meals in the shared lawn space whilst children play on the playground. Stepping back inside, the sleeping quarters are made up of a mezzanine bedroom with limited head height and a simple single bed as well as an attractive double bedroom that’s downstairs on the ground floor.

Amongst so many other coastal excursions, Pembrokeshire offers plenty of places from which to take an afternoon boat trip and admire eclectic sea life up close. Embark on a seal-spotting adventure tour from Tenby Harbour (19 miles), stopping off in Caldey Island to peruse the ancient monastery or head to Martin’s Haven (13 miles) to embark on a puffin tour of Skomer and Skokholm islands. Naturally, you can also stay closer to home and view seascapes from afar, spending long days lounging on the fantastic beach at Broad Haven (5.5 miles).

A very welcoming cottage, that has everything needed for a relaxing stay. We were greeted by the owner who was very friendly. The lovely tea tray of goodies was so appreciated after such a long journey. My son loved the play areas, definitely a very family friendly stay.

We had a really lovely stay in Primrose Cottage, thank you for having us! The cottage is lovely and has everything you need. Would highly recommend a trip to St Davids and a boat trip to Ramsey Island. Our 5 year old loved it. Newgale and Whitesands are also lovely beaches worth visiting.

Lovely compact cottage in countryside location but close to town of Haverfordwest. Owners resident on sight very friendly and helpful. Ideal location to explore the beaches and countryside of Pembrokeshire.

Lovely property but not in Broad Haven as advertised. It's in Haverfordwest. Nevertheless it's an amazing place to stay. The hosts are very nice and friendly. Views from the property are lovely, open fields. Quite private despite being in a block of similar cottages. We really enjoyed our stay and have it shortlisted to revisit because of its centrRead moreal location. Hide
