Manicured gardens and rustic interiors await at this fantastic Pembrokeshire property. Simply steeped in traditional charm, this 200-year-old cottage promises a marvellous base for four guests amongst West Wales’s vibrant coastline. The extensive stretch of the renowned coastal path can be reached within 100 metres, so lace up your walking boots in preparation for coastal sightseeing excursions. The property is a dog-friendly accommodation choice welcoming one or two canine companions, ideally suited for those hoping to unearth some epic dog walks throughout the day.

Wander up the delightful pathway passing well-tended flowerbeds, a pretty lawn and a well-furnished patio space as you venture inside. Once indoors, find yourself to be instantly greeted by a lounge/diner with a beamed ceiling and the joy of an open fire. Whether you’re cracking out a board game or popping on the TV/DVD, do so with a fire burning throughout cooler winter months. Everything is laid out on one level so venture along the hallway to find a kitchen with French door access to the patio where you can dine alfresco or throw bits on the BBQ. Find two bedrooms, both attractive doubles, on this floor, alongside a family bathroom.

Little Haven, a picturesque fishing village with pubs, shops and an adorable shingle beach, is just half a mile along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. A little further along you’ll reach Broad Haven (1 mile), a slightly bigger village with more amenities and an extremely popular stretch of golden sand. You’ll pass by remarkable clifftop beauty spots as you wander down the seaside pathway, reaching St Brides Haven (5 miles) or Musslewick Beach (6.5 miles) before admiring the seals and pups from the deer park walk of the Marloes Peninsula (8 miles). For a closer look at this vibrant sealife, embark on a sea safari around Skomer Island.

We had a great holiday at The Leap. The location is great - Little Haven is a wonderful base for exploring the coastline. We enjoyed the outdoor space too.

Enclosed, secure garden. Super close to enclosed fields for off lead walking en route to coastal path. Very comfortable bungalow helped by the good weather so we could spend a lot of of time in the mature garden. Some sun loungers on the grass would have been a nice bonus.

This is a very good quality and comfortable single-storey cottage located within a short walk of the village. It has a lovely garden with a sunny aspect which is both private and dog-proof. Highly recommended.

I had to wipe down the bed frame, it was covered in dust and dog hair, I had to clean out the washing machine for the same reason and wipe the light switches due to dirty finger marks. Other a beautiful cottage in a lovely location

The Leap is on a surprisingly busy country lane. It is narrow in parts and makes walking down into Little Haven quite dangerous particularly after dark. There was a limited amount of hot water available to fill the bath. At about 4" deep the water ran cold. For those not familiar with "Nest" some detailed instructions would be useful.

The Leap is a beautiful cottage in a stunning and very peaceful location. It is very well equipped with lots of little thoughtful touches added too! The garden is a delight to sit in if the weather permits which it certainly did for us, and for those equally lucky you can dine on the patio from breakfast to sundown! A gem of a place!
