Another comfortable stay at Blaencwm Mawr Cottage, with the same warm welcome, excellent home made jams and free range eggs, gorgeous flowers from the garden and some rather better weather this time!
Great cottage, very well equipped and private. A total home from home. Much to see in the surrounding area.
The property and the owners were first class, we couldn't of asked for a better place to stay.
We have had an amazing week. The cottage has to be the BEST we have ever stayed in. Every detail to make your stay a memorable one. We felt so welcome. Peace and quiet, lovely walks over the local fields. The setting is just amazing. The Red Kite came to say goodbye this morning. We will definitely recommend this beautiful cottage!
Amazing place to stay. Very peaceful and relaxing. Would visit again and would highly recommend.
Our fourth visit to this cosy comfortable cottage, and yet another fantastic holiday. Amazing weather over the Easter weekend so lots of time spent on the beaches (New Quay and Aberporth), delicious ice cream and a lovely visit to the Pizza Tipi at Cardigan, having tea next to the river at sunset. Easter fun at the Teifi Valley Railway and a little tour round the engine sheds. The weather changed but it didn't spoil our fun. A trip to the wildlife centre, where we did pond dipping and saw a woodpecker. We watched the life boat launch and saw dolphins. Another fantastic week. I'll sure we'll be back again. Thank you.
All very comfortable with birthday cake and card! Very nice welcoming hamper.
This cottage, without any shadow of doubt, is the best we have ever stayed in. Spacious, well equipped, cosy, functional, peaceful - just perfect. If it was for sale we would buy it. The owners were fantastic and although on hand if needed, they didn’t bother us unnecessarily. Will definitely go back and probably spoilt now as it will be hard to match this idyllic property.
Was in desperate need of a short break away and the owners delivered! Such a welcoming couple. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality and beauty of the cottage and surroundings. We didn't venture too far because we needed a good relax and slow down from the busy normal life. Newcastle Emlyn has some beautiful independent shops and plenty of places for a naughty slice of cake and a coffee. On the second day we visited Cenarth to explore the falls. You will need steady feet and sensible shoes but a beautiful walk. The gift shop and ice cream by the car park are worth a look. Thank you for the lovely goodies that awaited us after a long drive! Hope to maybe return again.
We've enjoyed staying at your lovely place. It's one of the cleanest places we have stayed and is in a beautiful location, very pleasing to the eye. I can't believe all the equipment to use, we even had the luxury of sharp knives and enough utensils, etc! Thank you again.
We have had a wonderful time here and that is due to the wonderfully welcoming and beautiful cottage. I can honestly say it is the cleanest, moset thoughtfully finished and equipped cottage we have ever stayed in. From the lovely welcome pack of bread, homemade james and fresh milk & eggs to the luxuriously soft Egyptian cotton towels and dishwasher tabs in the kitchen, everything you could need has been provided! We have been almost everywhere having had wonderful weather. The best beaches New Quay, Aberporth and Tenby are a must! Amazing Gelateria on the sea front - dairy free choc ice cream to die for!
Very clean and well equipped cottage. The location is very good for visiting a beautiful part of South-Wales. The owners, Rick and Claire were very helpful, kind and welcoming. They even picked us up after we were lost during a walk in the surroundings. Stupid Dutch!! .... We felt very welcome. Although the cottage was near the house of the owners, it was very private. The toffee waffles tasted almost like at home :) rick and Claire, thank you for your tasty presents, the small talks. We had a lovely week!
A truly lovely cottage in a peaceful and pictureque location. The 'Welcome' was a treat after a miserably wet journey - fresh bread, home-made jam, free range eggs. A perfect, relaxing short break with glorious sunshine and wonderful views. Highly recommended, particularly to those requiring single-storey accommodation. Spacious and comfortable.
