Llangrannog is popular with tourists as it is a tranquil and safe seaside village lying on the Ceredigion coast. It is a dog-friendly beach, with two bays and more when the tide is out. There is a lifeguard presence during the day. There is parking right on the beach front and also a free car park further up in the village with a park and ride service to the beach. There are two pubs in the village, with great reputations for home-cooked food, locally sourced. There is also the Patio Coffee Shop right on the sea front, which has delicious ice cream and cakes, all home made. There is also a restaurant with a chip shop attached and a small village shop for the everyday essentials.
The nearest town is the market town of Cardigan, 10 miles away to the south, and New Quay is 11 miles to the north. Both have shops, cafes, restaurants and take aways. In both towns there are organised boat trips around the coast to see the dolphins and porpoises. It is a very popular section of the coast for scientific research conducted on the marine wildlife found along this coast. There is also the village of Aberporth, again a two bay sandy, safe beach, 6 miles away. There are other sandy beaches on this coastline as well as inland attractions such as the Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park, where you can see seals. There is the Castell Henllys Iron Age Hill Fort and the Cenarth Adventure Centre.

Fantastic and beautiful location will definitely be returning. The owner was also really helpful and welcoming. Mrs Jane Lloyd - 6th August 2018
We have had a lovely week here at Arforwest. The bungalow is beautiful and comfortable. The views are amazing and it is so peaceful. Thank you for our welcome gift and for having us. Very sad to be going home.Mr William Smith - 30th June 2018
We had a wonderful week at Arforwest and I celebrated my 13th birthday at the Pentre Arms. We went kayaking for three days and took Nanny and Grandad for a ride once! While kayaking we use dolphins not once but twice and one even went right next to our boat! We also enjoyed relaxing on the beach - we were very lucky with the weather! The walk from Llangrannog to Cwmtydu (I hope I spelt those correctly!) was stunning with breathtaking views from the cliff tops. I have very much enjoyed my stay here.Tristan (aged 13) - 31st May 2018
Back again for another fabulous week. Weather absolutely glorious. Loving the upgrades to the bungalow. Looking forward to our next visit already.Mrs Julie Vaughan - 26th May 2018
Very enjoyable week. 2 tough coastal walks. Llangrannog to Penbryn is very hard but great. Sunday lunch at New Inn very good. Super pub meal at Pentre Arms in Llangrannog, highly recommended. Many fab sunsets. Been here 3 or 4 times now - great!Andy - 12th May 2018
Another lovely week and we're already looking forward to coming back next May. The only downside are the nights drawing in to shorten our days. Alfie really loves the freedom of running in the garden.Mrs Julie Vaughan - 30th September 2017
We have visited this property for many years - and enjoyed every holiday. It is ideally located for walking and visiting the many historical sites in the vicinity. It is very comfortable and has spectacular views of the coast and you can watch the wildlife in the neighbouring fields (red kites etc). Most important for us - it is dog friendly.Mrs Clarke - 13th September 2016
When a family live in a town it is really nice to be in an isolated area with plenty of greenery.Mr Kendrick - 24th June 2016
Have stayed here many times. The cottage and its inspirational owner are firm favourites. The location is peaceful and rural with the coast within easy reach. Ideal for our holiday requirements. Also dog friendly - very important for us.Mrs Clarke - 15th September 2015
We had a wonderful stay in this holiday home and would definitely stay here again.Mrs Williams - 24th July 2015
Had a superb week in this bright and spacious cottage with its wonderful view of the sea, excellent equipment and cupboards ready to receive a week's supply of food. Tubs of flowers in the garden were beautiful and much appreciated. Loved the wet room and also the extensive collection of books. This part of Ceredigion is great for walking - you can plan from the map with confidence.Mrs Wallace - 26th June 2015
A fantastic property in the most wonderful location. Spectacular sunsets have to be seen to be believed!!Mrs Jones - 30th September 2014
This is the 1st time for this type of holiday. It was fantastic, the bungalow was located in a lovely area with great views. It was well equipped, comfortable, like being home from home. Having two dogs it was great to find the beaches were half dog friendly. We would certainly go back there.Mr Pearson - 14th July 2014
