Sandpiper is less than a 10 minute walk from the resort of Saundersfoot or a short car journey. There is a splendid harbour with boat trips leaving throughout the Summer months. There are numerous places to eat and drink and shops to purchase souvenirs.
Saundersfoot is a great base for a Pembrokeshire holiday being close to super sandy beaches, harbours and cliff top walks. Bosheston lily ponds is a very scenic area with large ponds to walk around, you may even spot an otter or two! The lily ponds lead out onto Broad Haven beach which is a lovely sandy beach backed by sand dunes.
A short drive takes you to the well-known seaside town of Tenby set in its own historic town walls and the Blue Flag North and South beach to enjoy.
Manorbier just around the coastline has a castle to explore and a lovely beach with rock pools - its also good if you like a spot of surfing!
There are lots of adventure parks for the children to spend time either watching animals from around the world, Folly Farm and Annas Welsh Zoo or riding on a roller coaster at Oakwood Theme park. There is an indoor climbing centre in Tenby or Battlefield live to practise your laser shooting. If you enjoy trampolining then head off to Hangar 5 in Haverfordwest.
For more relaxed fun there is Colby Woodland Gardens where you can enjoy a duck race, rope swings, a walk through its 8 acres of land or simply cook on a camp fire.
