Reviews

We left Mill Lodge early this morning after a wonderful stay there this week, what a delightful property and little spot, just what we needed after the last 18 months. We loved the area and feel sure we will be returning.

Past Customer,

We had a wonderful stay thank you very much.

Past Customer,

We had a great time, Mill Lodge was fabulous, very homely and very clean. Gwen and the team had it looking lovely when we arrived and sorted out a small issue very quickly. We will be back in 2022! Until then, thank you again for all of your help and best wishes for the year. Laura

Past Customer,

Thank you Carole, we had a really good week of freedom! Mill Cottage is a great place to stay in.

Location

Mill Lodge is ideal for couples and a family all on one level. Part of an old working water mill it is set in tranquil surroundings with the Solva stream running through it’s gardens. The village of Solva is a short drive away with numerous of shops, the pubs Harbour Inn, the Cambrian Inn and its very own Woollen Mill with it range of floor rugs and woollen goods and open all the year round. The sandy beaches of Barafundal, Whitesands Bay and Newgale which are well known for surfing.

Scolton Manor near Haverfordwest is a former manor house which is now a museum offering a Victoria style is surrounded by over 60 acres of park and woodland which carries a Green Flat Award, so well worth exploring. Children can learn about creepy-crawlies and other small creatures as they follow the Dragon’s Run mini trail around the grounds.

Pembroke Castle is set on the banks of the river estuary, this mighty fortress is largely intact and its endless passages, tunnels and stairways are great fun to explore and turn back time to its medieval life.
