This beautiful, semi-detached studio apartment in Aberdaron enjoys an elevated position with an amazing view over the village and out to sea. Aberdaron is a beautiful seaside village at the very tip of the Llŷn Peninsula and offers a warm Welsh welcome. Known as “The Land’s End of North Wales” it boasts a magnificent mile long sandy beach, lovely cafes, a thatched roof bakery and tea room as well as two pubs with excellent food. There is also a visitor centre, a fish and chips shop, pizza takeaway, newsagent, butcher and a small supermarket.
Offering direct access to the Wales Coast Path, the village also features the Pilgrim Church of St Hywyn that dates back to the 5th century. Located on the pilgrim route that leads to the sacred island of Bardsey (Ynys Enlli in Welsh), 2 miles off-shore, this is a journey still enjoyed by many and boat trips are available from Porth Meudwy, 1.5 miles from Aberdaron. Remember to keep an eye out for seals, dolphins and all manner of bird life. You can also hire bikes in the village if you wish to explore the beauty of the Llŷn on two wheels.
The Llŷn Peninsula is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With numerous other picturesque villages, hidden coves and sandy beaches dotted around the peninsula, it is definitely worth exploring. A visit to Plas Glyn-y-Weddw, a magnificent Manor with galleries, beautiful gardens and tea room with sea views is highly recommended and Glasfryn Parc is also a fun day out with its go-karting, ten-pin bowling, archery etc. Other popular attractions include the Ffestiniog and Highland steam train journeys, Cricieth and Caernarfon castles, the Italian village of Portmeirion and Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales.

Wonderful holiday experience at Morannedd. Top class accommodation, excellent location for village and Welsh Costal Path. Our host was thoroughly professional in assisting throughout our stay and nothing was too much trouble. David from West Sussex - 22nd July 2018
Stunning location. Just what we were looking for somewhere to relax. Lovely friendly greeting from the owner Eirlys. Nothing was too much trouble for her. We really enjoyed our stay. We would recommend it and we will be back!Mr Andy Wilson - 15th July 2018
Fabulous apartment with views to die for. Owners were really hospitableMrs Sally Garner - 27th June 2018
The property was beautiful and furnished exceptionally well. We normally bring our own pans etc but our hosts had thought of everything (even a blanket in the wardrobe for you sitting on the terrace on the evening). The view was beautiful. Looking out onto the sea on the evening and in the morning was fabulous. We will definitely be going back some time in the near future. Highly recommended as the drive into Abersoch isn’t too far and it was nice to stay on the outside. Mr Steven Dixon - 31st May 2018
