It is situated near the small hamlet of Llanfaglan, 2.5 miles from Caernarfon, 5 miles from the Snowdonia National Park and with easy access to the beaches of the Lleyn Peninsula. There are footpaths from the door, across fields and the owners’ land, to a historic church and the pebble beach at Foryd Bay, with stunning views across the Menai Straits to Anglesey and towards Caernarfon. Here you can explore the delights of this historic town, with its famous castle, Welsh Highland Railway, cafes, shops and pubs. Approximately 1 mile away is an award-winning cafe/garden centre/shop and the Lon Eifion traffic free cycle route. The Blue Flag Award beach and hill fort at Dinas Dinlle is 6 miles away.

Brilliant, many, many thanks for a lovely stay at Sally and Louis property.
The cottage was very clean and welcoming on arrival. There was a lovely welcome pack containing a selection of Welsh "goodies"
We appreciated the warm welcome, advice on walking and cycling routes and the extras - milk in fridge, Welsh mini-hamper, wood for fire.
This was our forth stay at the Lodge y From and it won't be our last. We keep returning year after year because of the fantastic location, access to the mountains and coast and great cycling. There's always plenty to do and we never tire of the place.
Fantastic location, lovely garden and very pleasant property. I would go back and recommend.
We very much enjoyed our lodge that we stayed in, it was very clean and cosy and furnished with everything that you may need. It was in a great location very peaceful and quiet but not far from amenities and benefited from spectacular views. We appreciated the thoughtful treats that were left for us to enjoy especially after a long journey. The website was very easy to use and the service was very efficient and friendly.
Excellent cottage in a good location. Walks start from the front door, and its an easy and quick journey into the Snowdon mountains. A constant supply of logs kept us warm and cozy through the stay. Really excellent property, stayed here before and will stay here again.
