Wonderful combination of old cottage charm with all mod-cons – extremely well-appointed throughout and a warm welcome from the owner and the pheasants who frequent the back garden! The gift basket on arrival was very much appreciated and utterly delicious. Cosy and comfortable, a great base for exploring the area. We visited Bala railway, Lake Vyrnwy, Harlech and the Centre for Alternative Technology, all of which were thoroughly enjoyable for our group aged 18 months to mid-60’s. Definitely a place to get away from it all, no mobile phone signal (although the wifi worked perfectly) and some of the mountain roads around the area are not for the faint-hearted driver, but worth it for the stunning views. Would love to return in a few years to enjoy some of the walks in the area once our son has graduated from his buggy!Joanne from Bray, Co. Wicklow - 12th October 2018
