Description

Llwyniarth is a very pleasant, detached former farmhouse (dating back to the early 1900s) near Dolgellau, 1 mile. It stands on the northern slopes of Cadair Idris, and therefore has spectacular mountain views all around.

The stone farmhouse has been renovated to provide a high quality standard of accommodation.

Entrance: the spacious utility room contains a washer/dryer and freezer and provides ample storage for outdoor clothing. It leads on to the ground level WC with washbasin.

Kitchen: the spacious, attractive, well-fitted kitchen is complete with a dishwasher and oak dining table and solid high backed chairs.  Beneath the staircase is a comfortable sofa for relaxing. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven,  hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge.

Sittting room: the beamed, comfortable lounge has two large settees, quality furniture and a woodburner (logs provided) in a beautiful stone and oak fireplace. TV with basic Sky, video and DVD players. The dual aspect room offers unrivalled views of Cadair Idris and the fields surrounding the property.

Bedroom 1: master bedroom with nicely styled, comfortable double bed, oak furniture and a view of Cadair Idris. Original oak flooring. En-suite tiled en suite shower room with WC and Basin.

Bedroom 2: double bedroom with quality pine furniture. Original oak flooring.

Bedroom 3: Full sized bunk bed room with original oak floorboards

Bathroom: family bathroom with a shower over the bath, WC and wash basin.

Exterior: Private gated driveway with sufficient parking for 3 cars. To the front of the property is a raised slate patio area with picnic table and bbq for al fresco dining. Excellent view of Cadair Idris to the front of the property.

This is a popular area for walking (Torrent and Precipice walks, Cadair Idris) and mountain biking at the Coed-y-Brenin centre. Spectacular castles at Harlech, Criccieth, Caernarfon and Conwy are all within driving distance. Royal St David's Golf Club at Harlech (19 miles) which is an 18-hole championship course. Sandy beaches at the popular tourist towns of Fairbourne and Barmouth (8 miles). Great location for enjoying an activity-based or family holiday.
