The organisers of the Machynlleth Comedy Festival like to do things a little bit differently. A huge range of acts are already signed up to perform from newcomers to award winners and all the venues are located centrally to this town in the heart of Mid Wales. The venues offer intimate performance spaces, although the Monster Comedy Shed, with an audience capacity of 4, may leave some people feeling a little too exposed! As well as the comedy there is usually a theatre and music programme as well as shows aimed purely for children.
