This Victorian mid-terraced house, in the historic market town of Llanrwst, has been lovingly renovated with much charm. Gainsboro has the added convenience of being close to the railway station for a car free holiday and close to all the amenities of Llanrwst. Betws-y -Coed, the gateway to Snowdonia, is 5 miles away and Conwy, with its famous castle and walled town, 10 miles.
'Ffin y Parc art gallery is a few miles down the road and has changing exhibitions from some of the best welsh artists, also a good cafe serving homemade food in magnificent surroundings' from Jacky, our local property manager
The Cottage: has two cosy sitting rooms separated by glazed doors and a bright modern kitchen diner. Gas central heating.

Llanrwst itself is a bustling small market town with some great cafes, pubs and shops selling local goods. Pleasant walks can be had from the door along the river to Betws-y-Coed and to Trefiw in the other direction. This area is very popular with both road and mountain bikers with easy access to the multi-use trails in the Gwydir forest. The Conwy valley has the National Trust's Bodnant gardens, the popular Bodnant Welsh Food centre and Surf Snowdonia splash and surf centre, whilst Conwy Castle and the coast is just 10 miles away. Many of the most popular attractions of the Snowdonia National Park are a short drive away.

Our 2nd visit to this lovely cottage. Very spacious yet still feeling cosy. Clean and comfortable. Great nights sleep. Excellent location within 5 minutes walk to all amenities including supermarkets, local shops and buses. The train station is opposite. Very relaxed atmosphere with friendly neighbours. Will definitely book again!
Lovely cottage in perfect location for exploring North Wales. Very comfortable house with 2 great sitting rooms and a fantastic kitchen diner. Great patio garden for the evening sunshine. Lots to do in the surrounding area - surf snowdonia, steam train rides, castles and beautiful beaches.
Property 1st class. Your service very good. Llanrwst good pub with good ale. Very friendly. Plenty of decent eating places and 'carry-outs'
