Just over half a mile from the beach and amenities of Aberdaron, this handsome detached cottage enjoys village and sea views from its elevated position. Suitable for couples and families with older children, it is a spacious and comfortable base from which to enjoy lazy days by the sea or getting out and about in the Llyn Peninsula.

This two-storey stone property is full of natural light and feels very welcoming. Step through the tiled hallway and into the generously sized lounge, which has squashy leather seating around a smart TV and an inglenook with a flame-effect electric wood burner. The bright kitchen/diner has character and style, with its beamed ceiling, beautiful fitted cabinetry and a lovely reading nook from which you can enjoy the sea views. A utility room complements the kitchen facilities, and there’s also a WC on the ground floor. On the first floor, the principal bedroom is a large, light-filled double with a TV and an en-suite shower room. A further double bedroom (with sea views) and a single share a stylish bathroom. The private garden (not fully enclosed) has a lawn and a furnished patio area from which you can enjoy the wonderful views over Aberdaron and out to sea.

In charming Aberdaron, on the most western point of the peninsula, you’ll find shops, cafes and pubs as well as a mile-long sandy beach that’s popular for water sports. Stroll along the coastal path and explore beautiful coves, hidden beaches and other seaside villages. From Porth Meudwy, 1.5 miles from Aberdaron, you can take a boat trip during the summer months to spend half a day on the unique island of Bardsey, spotting seals and porpoises along the way. The seaside town of Abersoch is just 10.5 miles, and Pwllheli is 16 miles.

We have stayed there before, although the location is a bit out of the way for the usual tourist spots, the house is very nice and the view from it is worth it alone.

The location of the property whilst beautiful was quite remote so we had to take the car even in to the village. A little niggle was that the sofas were a little uncomfortable when we all sat in the lounge in the evenings. The house was very well equipped, warm and met all of our needs

This was the second time we stayed at Fron Olau. Although the location may not be ideal for access to the main tourist spots in north Wales the house has everything you could wish for and makes up for it, the extra miles to visit areas of interest is well worth while.

The property was great, all home comforts provided and owner very welcoming providing tea/coffee, milk and biscuits for our arrival which was much appreciated. A local ordnance survey map was very useful along side other local information to help choose extra unplanned activities.

This is such a great place. It was great sitting in the garden looking across the fields to the sea. Some wonderful walks from the front door. This is the cleanest and best setup place we have stayed.

Very good property. Would have scored a higher comfort score with larger sofa's in the front room and a permanent table in the kitchen rather than a fold down table. Otherwise lovely little stay and would recommend to friends and family ??

Everything was just as illustrated in the advertisment. We marked 4 for property location only because it is quite a way from the main places we like to visit. We like to just drive around Wales and take trips on the various trains to places and enjoy the fantastic scenery in Wales. Which we done. A really great holiday. Thank you.
