If you’re craving some peace and quiet, this charming Welsh cottage in Snowdonia National Park will be a true treat, located in a rural setting with stunning views over the Cwm Maethlon (Happy Valley). Spend your days taking your pets on long, satisfying walks through the stunning hills, followed by relaxed evenings soaking your tired limbs in the hot tub. With room for up to six guests and two dogs, this cosy accommodation is perfectly suited to a family or group of friends wishing to breathe in the fresh Welsh air.

This quintessential Welsh cottage is made from pretty stone and is surrounded by a patio and grassy lawn with a seated area – excellent for making the most of the fresh air in mild weather. In the modern kitchen, admire the outstanding vistas from the dining room table as you make a plan of where to explore today. The cosy living room has a wood burner for keeping warm on those chilly Welsh evenings, plus a TV/DVD and Sky TV so you can enjoy a film night after busy days out. There’s also a separate playroom where youngsters can spend quality time together playing table football or board games.

You’ll find a village shop, a pub and a restaurant in nearby Pennal (4 miles) and a wider variety of amenities in the seaside town of Tywyn, which is also your nearest beach. The historical town of Machynlleth is well worth the visit for its relaxed atmosphere and famous market. For walking opportunities, you can join the stunning Wales Coast Path just 0.5 miles from your front door. Golf lovers will be pleased to know there’s an 18-hole course at Aberdyfi and another golf centre in Machynlleth.

Up to 2 dogs welcome @ £25 each - please note dogs are only permitted in the kitchen and utility room.

The cottage was fantastic, welcome pack so thoughtful. Spa amazing, especially the shooting stars! The log fire was so cozy, especially at night. Well stocked crockery and cutlery. The Home Owner was amazing allowing us to see the sheep being scanned. My granddaughter actually went back and scanned her bedtime sheep with the watch charger!!! TRead morehe silence was awesome. Great communication from original booking which made everything straightforward. The property is in an idyllic location with walks on the doorstep. It is very well equipped with everything you need. Dylan and Fiona are great hosts and very helpful with regard to local information etc.

Beautiful countryside and comfortable accommodation with all you need for a wonderful holiday. Dylan and Fiona were the most friendliest and welcoming of hosts. Regularly checking all was alright for our stay with added bonus of lamb burgers from the farm and sausages from a local producer with a BBQ to hand. A wonderful cottage in an great position, the owners were super friendly, Dylan called nearby daily to feed the sheep and have a chat and Fiona cleaned the hot tub regularly. The cottage has all you need for a great stay, even a home baked cake for us. a short drive to the wonderful beach, with miles of soft sand and dunes. We had a fabulous stay in a beautiful, well equipped cottage in a fabulous rural location. Pets are restricted in the cottage to cater for allergy sufferers and that wasnt apparent at time of booking, hence the slightly lower information accuracy score.

Beautiful location, relatively accessible for Aberdovey and the beautiful surrounding countryside. Great walk up to Bearded Lake and then loop back into Happy Valley. Loved it. Remote, peaceful and quiet and extremely friendly owner.

Beautiful place to stay. The views were stunning and the peace and tranquility were perfect. Very well equipped kitchen. Some bits were a bit dusty, or previous occupants had put things away dirty.
