This stunning luxury accommodation near Aberdyfi has been recently refurbished to the highest level and is presented to a very high standard with many quality touches. The apartment enjoys simply stunning views over the Dyfi estuary. It is approached down a flight of slate steps from the parking area, onto a spacious decking terrace with garden furniture. The nearest beach at Aberdovey is only 3 miles away.

Perched on the hillside just outside Aberdyfi, The Old Stables is a unique collection of luxuriously appointed apartments in what was originally the Stable Block of the Plas Panteidal Estate. There is a private parking area accessed via electrically operated main gates with two reserved spaces for guests at Apartment 6. There is underfloor heating throughout the apartment, free WiFi (please note the broadband here can be slow and is really only suitable for emails and basic browsing) and the water comes from the area's own deep water spring, which is then UV filtered to provide a sparklingly pure source for drinking and bathing.

The accommodation comprises:

Living Room: open plan with lounge and dining areas, with fabulous panoramic views over the estuary; curved cream leather sofa and footstool, Freeview TV, DVD player, CD system; oak and glass dining table and four chairs.

Kitchen area: to one corner of the living room, with peninsula unit and range of integrated appliances: electric double oven, ceramic hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washer/dryer.

Bedroom 1: with king size bed and door onto the decking terrace.

Bedroom 2: with twin beds.

Shower Room: with electric shower in cubicle, WC, vanity unit with basin, extractor fan, shaver point and heated towel rail.

Outside: a private hardwood decked terrace, running 50 feet along the front of the apartment, perfect for watching the ever-changing tides, wildlife and sunsets. There is a very good degree of privacy from the neighbouring apartments. The apartment has binoculars and a wildlife diary so guests can record what they see - ospreys, otters and eagles get a mention. An all-weather wicker furniture set seating up to four people is provided, two reclining chairs, and a gas barbecue. The balcony is accessed from the lounge and from double doors from the master bedroom.

Parking: two parking spaces in the shared parking area, secured by electronic gates.

Electricity and heating included

Bed linen and towels provided

Travel cot and highchair available

The Old Stables is an ideal retreat to get away from it all but it also provides the perfect base for a full range of outdoor activities available locally. In addition to the beach and water sport activities, such as sailing, yachting, rowing, canoeing and fishing, there is a championship golf course in Aberdovey and all manner of inland activities such as walking, hiking, cycling and climbing and many more associated with Snowdonia National Park.

A taxi service from Aberdovey operates two 8-seater minibuses. The fare each way is currently £9.50 per minibus each way.
