Bryn Tirion is a superior single storey cottage in a delightful rural location above the picturesque Elwy Valley in the vale of Conwy renowned for its tranquil landscape of meadows, moors and woodland. This lovely, comfortable cottage adjoins the owner's home, 2 miles from the village of Llanfair Talhaiarn, 5 miles from the market town of Abergele, 12 miles from Llanrwst and the Snowdonia National Park, and 18 miles from Conwy.
The Cottage: is in an elevated position, alongside a very quiet country road. It has an open plan living area and one bedroom.
Living Area: the attractively beamed, open plan living room has comfortable seating with a TV/DVD and Freeview. Windows on all sides look out over the pretty garden.
Kitchen/diner: the fitted kitchen has an electric hob and oven, fridge and freezer. There is a dining area with a small table and chairs. There is access to a washing machine and tumble dryer in the adjoining garage.
Bedroom: this spacious room has a double bed and a TV, with an additional single bed on request for a child or for alternative sleeping arrangements
Bathroom: a modern ensuite shower room with shower enclosure.
Outside: to the rear of the property is a lovely sheltered seating area with shrub borders and potted plants in the summer. Parking is alongside the property.
A public footpath leads from the cottage to the village which has a pub and tennis courts. This is a great area for quiet countryside walks and bird watching. Fishing available in local reservoirs and a trout farm (own licence required). There is plenty to do nearby: walking in the Clwydian Mountains and further afield in Snowdonia. Mountain biking in the nearby Llandegla bike park and Clocaenog forest, also lots of cross country routes. Llyn Brenig, 13 miles away, has family cycling, fishing and watersports, there is a café here overlooking the beautiful reservoir and a great kid play area. The town of Denbigh has full amenities and a castle to explore, whilst historic Ruthin has lots of independent shops, a Victorian gaol and a popular craft centre. A spectacular drive over the moors takes you to Betws-y-Coed, the ‘gateway to Snowdonia’ from where you can access the bigger mountains of the Snowdonia range and many adrenaline activities such as Zip World Fforest and Surf Snowdonia. North Wales beaches about half an hour away, and the Roman walled city of Chester is not to be missed.

Had a great week in lovely sunny countryside. Cottage in an ideal location for coastal and countryside walks and visits. Cottage beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and well maintained. Had a great stay. Thank you Georgina and Dave
Thank you again for a great week. Love the new kitchen!
An enjoyable stay. We found the cottage to be very clean on arrival. An ideal location from which to explore North Wales. The cottage is comfortable and inviting. We will definitely come back. Thank you
Thank you Dave and Georgina for a wonderful stay and making us feel welcome. The cottage is beautiful and spotless! Thank you for the recommendations for places to visit. We had a fantastic time x
Thank you Georgina and Dave for a lovely week in your cottage. Weather has been good to us despite and odd rainy day. The cottage is very well equipped and homely.
A very welcomed break enjoyed in this cottage. Perfectly placed to explore North Wales. Going home feeling relaxed. Thank you Dave and Georgine for your recommendations.
Spotlessly clean cottage. Comfortable and perfectly placed for exploring this lovely area. Stay safe everyone.
We've had a wonderful time in the area. So glad we picked the cottage to be our base (home) for the week. Dave and Georgina have been very hospitable. Thank you.
Stayed for 6 nights from June 7th and loved the cottage it was like home from home. Perfect for relaxing and if it’s country life and walks and bills then the location is perfect or if it’s beaches and adventure then no more than an hours drive away. At first when you arrive it seems out in the middle of nowhere but don’t be put off as there is lots around just research areas and plan ahead and it will be perfect. The owners Georgina and Dave were amazing never bothered you unless you needed anything and nothing was too much trouble. If you need to get away and just relax with no worries then definitely consider this place.
Another lovely break. Thank you again
