With panoramic sea views from all rooms and garden, along with a welcoming woodburner, this farm cottage on the Snowdonia coast offers an idyllic setting for your next holiday in North Wales. A 1 mile, tree lined drive leads to the village of Dyffryn Ardudwy, with plenty of amenities, including a sandy beach, village shop and pub. Access to beautiful mountain and coastal walks from the doorstep. Plenty of attractions within a short travelling distance, from Blue Flag Beaches and steam trains to Harlech Castle, Portmeirion and Zip World.

Ground Floor

Kitchen / diner - light and spacious room with an oak kitchen and solid dining table and chairs. Well equipped, including a cooker, hob and microwave, a dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Separate utility room includes a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Sun room - accessed via the kitchen, this is the room where time stops. The panoramic countryside and sea views that can be enjoyed from the comfort of your chair are mesmerizing. The perfect spot to sit back and sip coffee, wine (or both) all day until sunset. Patio door leads to a raised outdoor patio area with the same magnificent view.

Lounge - this cosy room also enjoys sea views and is the perfect setting to relax during the evenings in front of the TV and log fire.

Bedroom 1 - Spacious room with a king size bed, TV / DVD player and a beautiful view to inspire you every morning.

Bedroom 2 - Twin bedroom, also offering an inspiring view.

Bathroom: Shower over bath, WC, washbasin and heated towel rail.

As with the cottage itself, the private garden also enjoys uninterrupted countryside and sea views, all the way to Llyn Peninsula on the horizon. Enclosed, raised patio area with table and chairs.

Steps from the patio lead down to a lawn area below with another picnic table. Charcoal BBQ set also available.

Location

This semi-detached cottage is set on a family farm, 1 mile from the village of Dyffryn Ardudwy along a tree lined drive. Offering amazing, panoramic sea views over Cardigan Bay, the cottage enjoys an elevated position on the foothills of the Rhinogydd mountain range in the southern half of Snowdonia National Park. The cottage has been designed to make the most of its location, with every room benefiting from a sea view, as well as the private garden and patio area.

The coastal village of Dyffryn Ardudwy offers plenty of amenities, including a village pub, award winning butchers, Spar and garage. A little lane from the village leads to Benar Beach (1.6 miles from the doorstep) - a sand and single beach that goes on for miles in both directions along the Wales Coast Path.

5 miles south, the seaside town of Barmouth offers a great variety of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops along with a Blue Flag Beach, harbour and funfair. The small castle town of Harlech (6.5 miles north) also offers a good selection of cafes and shops and another magnificent sandy beach. It is also home to the famous Royal St Davids Golf Course, as well as a swimming pool and climbing wall.

Amongst the best places to eat locally are Nineteen.57 Restaurant and Bar in Talybont (1.4 miles), Norbar in Llanaber (2.6 miles), Bistro Bermo in Barmouth and Castle Cottage in Harlech. For a relaxing drink, visit Ysgethin Inn in Talybont (1 mile) and The Vic and Ty Mawr in Llanbedr (3 miles).

The cottage is also an excellent base to explore the wide range of attractions, towns and villages that are dotted around Snowdonia and beyond. To the south, the ferry crossing at Barmouth (crossing to a miniature train ride in Fairbourne), Dolgellau market town, Cader Idris, Coed y Brenin Mountain Biking Centre and Talyllyn Steam Train are just some of the notable attractions. To the north, the Italian village of Portmeirion is well worth a visit, not to mention Zip World and Bounce Below at Blaenau Ffestiniog, picturesque villages such as Betws y Coed and Beddgelert, the beautiful Llyn Peninsula and Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales.
