We liked the cottage very much. The owners were helpful. The location was well placed for visiting Snowdonia, coastal resorts, castles and Anglesey. The cottage had plenty of windows (including some velux) which made it feel light and spacious. The outside seating area was useful and was adjacent to the garden and a field. The beds were comfortable. We would recommend the cottage to others and would like to return.

Mrs S,

Lovely peaceful location within easy reach of good shops (Co-op and Deli / Butcher in Llanrug), Indian Restaurant (Sopna, a nice 25 minute walk or 5 minutes drive) and Chippy (Tegfan in Llanrug).

Mr T,

This self catering Llanberis holiday cottage is situated up a private drive and is surrounded by a belt of mature trees, making it a leafy, peaceful haven in the summer and a sheltered retreat in the winter. Beyond that there are open fields offering a range of local quiet circular walks linking footpaths and country lanes and further still there are views across the Menai Straits to Anglesey (Llanddwyn Island). Llanberis itself and the foot of Snowdon is just 4 miles away.

Jasmine Bach is 1 mile from the local village of Llanrug where there are several corner shops, an excellent butcher, a post office, pub, etc. You will have no shortage of things to do and places to visit as the area has plenty of visitor attractions, castles and museums, along with spectacular mountains, valleys and beaches to explore.

The town of Caernarfon has a superb setting, with the mountains of Snowdonia as a backdrop and wonderful views across the Menai Strait to Anglesey. Dominated by its majestic castle and ancient mediaeval walls, Caernarfon today is a busy market town with one of the highest percentages of Welsh speakers throughout Wales.

Take a tour around Inigo Jones Slate Works, travel to the highest peak in Wales on the Snowdon Mountain Railway and take advantage of the endless opportunities for walking, cycling, hiking, trekking and mountain walking in Eryri (Snowdonia). The Welsh Highand Railway, Electric Mountain in Llanberis, a round of golf on the shore of the Menai Straits and a visit to the beautiful Italianate village of Portmeirion are also guaranteed to inspire.

For younger visitors, Glasfryn Park offers indoor and outdoor activities including karting, bowling and quad biking. Hwylfan Fun Centre, North Wales' largest indoor fun centre is an ideal place for kids to let off steam, and Greenwood Forest Park is a nature-inspired theme park with a people-powered rollercoaster. Beacon Climbing Centre is only 2 miles away whilst the bridge to Anglesey leads to even more attractions including Pili Palas and Anglesey Sea Zoo.
