A colourful and characterful dog-friendly cottage within 2 miles of Llanrwst, a market town deep in the Conwy Valley. With a convenient ground floor bedroom and shower room, underfloor heating throughout and an enclosed rear patio garden, this is a perfect base for active families or friends seeking to explore Snowdonia National Park.

The radiant stone cottage, accessed via a well-maintained single-track road, has been restored to a high standard, its spacious rooms with high ceilings bathing in natural light throughout. Pick through the welcome pack while exploring this home from home, with plenty of time sure to be spent in the open-plan living room/kitchen/diner, which offers easy access to the patio via double doors. The ground floor also features a single bedroom offering plenty of storage space, along with an adjacent shower room. Wooden stairs in the living room lead up to a first floor gallery with a double bedroom and a twin bedroom at opposite ends. A small paved patio area, ideal for morning coffee or alfresco suppers, awaits outside.

The market town of Llanrwst (2 miles) is typical of those found across the Conwy Valley and beyond, with scenic footpaths aplenty nearby, especially along the river. Betws-y-Coed (6 miles) is known as ‘the gateway to Snowdonia’, a wondrous national park which has some of the most iconic mountains, lakes found anywhere in Wales, and therefore a plethora of footpaths, cycle trails and waterborne activities to enjoy, too. Conwy’s castle (13 miles) is one of many reasons to visit the town, while the seaside resort of Llandudno (16.5 miles) is famous for its beaches, Victorian pier and promenade.

A lovely property. Really pleasant stay, great owners - approachable and welcoming but not overbearing. Lovely welcome gift (wine) which went down well. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

We can be brief. It is a lovely cottage, out of the frontdoor you can follow the foothpaths through the hills or walk in 35 minutes to Llanrwst. With a car you can go further away for example to Conwy. If you want just relax at the cottage there are games to play or DVDs to watch or sit in the little garden. Very friendly owner.
