We stayed at this recently refurbished cottage for six days in mid-July immediately after lockdown was relaxed. The cottage was spotlessly clean and welcoming, and although only two of us were staying it could easily sleep five, plus a toddler, in comfort. All the rooms were well proportioned and furnished and the shower was powerful. We particularly liked the kitchen, which had a wide range of cooking utensils and a washing machine and dishwasher. My wife and I soon started referring to the cottage as"home". Dolgellau is a small, vibrant town set amongst stunning mountain scenery and has a more spacious feel than other towns and villages to the north of Snowdonia. Everybody we met in Dolgellau was helpful and friendly and we will be returning in September for another week of walking.
The property was faultless. The property was very comfortable and done to a high specification. We had a lovely welcome pack on arrival which was much appreciated. The location was excellent, right in the centre of town and the owners were very accommodating. We wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future
