A wonderful cottage in an idyllic and remote location. Stunning views and walks from the cottage door, or within 10 minutes drive. The cottage itself was spotless and very well equipped and comfortable for a family holiday. The sky at night here is staggering due the location. We are biased as we love the Dolgellau area, T H Roberts, the Stag inn,Read more craft cooperative etc in Dolgellau and cycle trails nearby. Then return to the cosy fire in Llwyniarth and star gazing. Hide

After many many years of renting holiday cottages this was without doubt the cleanest. The setting was exactly what we were looking for and the views were spectacular. We all loved the walking. It was a great holiday in one of my favourite places on earth.

A very well equipt house in a quiet rural setting provided us with a great winter break in north wales. Despite a little damp weather it was easy to dry off and with tiled floors it was easy to clean. In snowy or ice conditions vehicle access may become a problem because of its location.

Mention of slower/reduced internet would be good. Not too bad for us but families expecting good WiFi would be disappointed. Everything else was top notch

Cottage was in a perfect location with everything you needed. Views from every window, the small garden was perfect to sit out in and take everything in. Had a real remote feel to it, but only a few minutes drive back into town. Ideal base to climb Cadair Idris, explore the coast or drive more northerly into Wales.

Fabulous property and location. Only small negatives in that the Sky was only the very oldest and limited version. Would be great to upgrade this to Sky plus or Sky Q, or have a Smart TV (can get one of same size for around 300) as this would allow people to log in to their own packages such as Netflix, BBC iPlayer etc. beds were not that comfortabRead morele but that is probably just us as we are used to memory foam. The property was exactly 'as advertised' and beautifully presented. There are so many footpaths in the surrounding area - brilliant if you have a dog as we did. We only scratched the surface in a week, there is plenty more to explore. I can also highly recommend the OSMaps mobile phone app which is a godsend if you enjoy walking but don't want to kRead moreeep finding your specs to read a paper map. The pre-arrival emails and follow-ups were much appreciated and Customer Support was most helpful and understanding when we had to get in touch regarding items we had stupidly left behind (check ALL the cupboards, twice)! Perfect, relaxing week. Hide
