Perched on the Llanbedrog hillside with far-reaching sea and countryside views, this charming home-from-home is bursting with characterful features that create a homely atmosphere you won’t be able to help but fall in love with.

After a long day exploring your surrounding scenery, follow the warmth of the wood burner set inside an original inglenook fireplace into the lounge, made ultra-cosy by timber beams and exposed brickwork. Soak up the homely atmosphere by hunkering down on the plush sofa and catching the latest blockbuster on the Smart TV. Get creative with the local produce you’ve collected in the stylish kitchen/diner and enjoy views over the garden and beyond as you dine as a family long into the evening. Even at bedtime, you don’t have to leave behind your magnificent surrounding as each of the four sumptuously decorated bedrooms feature superb panoramic views that’ll send you to sleep peacefully. Soak up the last of the day’s sunshine by exploring the expansive garden set over several levels; children and four-legged friends can weave around the lawned areas as you dine alfresco on the stone terrace.

Nestled along the Llyn Peninsula’s most magical stretch of coastline, the picturesque seaside village of Llanbedrog boasts a sheltered mile-long sandy beach with colourful beach huts in the shadow of the Tin Man sculpture on the headland of Mynydd Tir Cwmwd. Keen walkers can stroll through the miles of woodlands of Wales’ oldest art gallery, Plas Glyn y Weddw a mile away before joining up with Wales Coastal Path to be rewarded with breathtaking views over Cardigan Bay. Hop along the coast to the seaside town of Abersoch 3 miles away to explore the myriad of independent shops and restaurants, or jump aboard a boat trip out to St Tudwal’s Islands to spot the resident seals.

The house is in a lovely location. Nearby beaches are stunning and Anglesey was absolutely out of this world. The house itself is very tired and as such feels a bit grubby. The carpets hadnt been hoovered thoroughly, cupboards and drawers were untidy with games all out of their boxes. It just feels a bit amateur. The master bedroom is lovelRead morey and the en-suite was clean. The main bathroom was also clean. There were some key items missing from the kitchen. A sieve for draining rice, tea strainer and a few more large glasses are the items I can immediately remember. In addition, one of the items that I think should always be included is hand soap in every bathroom. It costs very little but creates a much nicer impression. Overall, we had a lovely time but the property didnt feel very special which is very different to the photos. Hide

We love this property and stay every year. We do feel that this properly is in need of an update and a freshen up, and unfortunately I think this will be our last stay as we plan on trying out somewhere new.

Eye-watering expensive for what it is. But property was warm, cosy and comfortable and we had a fab time and the views are incredible.

Our stay at Fron Dirion was excellent. Wonderful views from the lovely modernised cottage and really near to the beach. Its a tough walk back from the beach as it is up a steep hill, but apart from this the house is perfect.
