Property code: OC-NODDFA

A charming stone cottage set in a leafy neighbourhood of Llanbedrog and perfectly placed for active adventures along the Llyn Peninsula. This contemporary hideaway is ideal for families or small groups of friends holidaying with a four-pawed pal in tow. Spot the striking Iron Man sculpture as you ascend atop the craggy Mynydd Tir y Cwmwd headland (1.5 miles) before indulging in a well-earned sizzling feast gathered in the wood-panelled BBQ hut.

This inviting property boasts an airy coastal interior with rustic wooden details, stable doors, and earthy natural tones. Unravel outdoor layers at the door then pad along the oak flooring in the sun-dappled lounge. Kick up weary feet on the padded sofas or tend to the crackling wood burner on chillier evenings while your pup snoozes on the deep pile rug. Rope in little helpers to assist with adorning the large dining table with a tempting spread then settle in for a celebratory supper. Rustle up something sweet in the light-flooded shaker kitchen or brew a drink to be enjoyed al fresco beneath the stars. After a day of exploring, ascend the staircase and sink into the soft sheets of two tranquil doubles or a quirky children’s bunk. Throw open the patio doors and sip a morning coffee on the raised deck or gear up for lawn games surrounded by mature shrubs and colourful flowers.

Brave an invigorating paddle in the waters of Llanbedrog Beach (1 mile) before scoffing a picnic backed by the iconic beach huts lining the shore. Stroll the opulent groomed grounds of Plas Glyn Y Weddw Gallery (1 mile) and peruse a local exhibition, or slip on the wetsuits for hours of wave-crashing fun on the swells of Hell’s Mouth (5 miles).

I have emailed you separately about an issue we had with the washing macning/ electrical system as it is not fair to add this to the review. However having stayed in a number of Original Cottage properties this wasn't at your usual high standard. The kitchen was fantastic - really well equipped but the rest of the property felt a little tired andRead more whilst I realise that space is limited in a property of this age the bedrooms are very small and the propery is only really suitable for a family. The lighting in the bedrooms was abysmal and not having some sort of bedside rest for glasses etc on both sides of the bed in the principal bedroom was frustrating. On arrival there was a bottle of half used out of date milk in the fridge and not all bins had a liner. The hot water system was a bit hot and miss and info hard to find on it - especially as the house boolk was tucked away under a table. The road outside is actually really busy and as gate cannot be locked and is low both children and dogs will need to be monitored closely. iIt's not a bad property but the issue with had with the washing machine plus the other niggles made it feel overpriced and not having the ususal wow factor that Original Holiday properties have Hide
