Property code: OC-THENOO

A quaint coastal cottage with a leafy garden oasis, set in the tranquil seaside village of Llanbedrog and perfectly positioned for adventuring along the Llyn Peninsula coast. This charming bolthole is perfect for couples or solo travellers seeking a restorative getaway with their four-pawed companion. Drink in the sweeping ocean vistas and nod hello to the Iron Man sculpture as you amble through the Mynydd Tir y Cwmwd headland (1 mile), before sipping a chilled sundowner on the wonderfully secluded raised deck.

This traditional property features a quintessential cottage interior with low wooden beams, exposed stone textures, and rich earthy tones. Slip off boots at the door then pad into the cosy lounge/diner. Throw another log on the crackling wood burner set deep in an impressive inglenook fireplace then sink onto the padded sofa and rest up weary feet. Raise a glass of fizz to your special occasion then dine at the wooden table bathed in the light from the window. Throw open the back door and enjoy the summer breeze as you potter in the galley kitchen and whip up a sweet treat. Climb the wooden staircase to rest up in the inviting double bedroom styled with playful nautical touches. Bask in the morning sunshine from the gravel terrace surrounded by lush shrubs and flowers or climb the stone steps to enjoy your coffee from the bistro set on the deck.

Embark on a sandy saunter along the sweeping shoreline at Llanbedrog Beach (1 mile) backed by colourful pastel beach huts. The traffic outside the cottage was horrendous. Also road works. Had to get back to the cottage early pm in order to get a space in the car park. The cottage was clean but the sofa was uncomfortable. Enjoyed our stay.
