Description

A traditional semi-detached cottage situated on the edge of the small village of Darowen, 3 miles south of Cemmaes Road and 7 miles east of the historic market town of Machynlleth for a range of shops, pubs and restaurants.

The cosy cottage has a double bedroom and a set of 2'6" bunk beds on the large landing (not suitable for very young children); compact shower and basin upstairs and a ground floor WC. Also on the ground floor is a fitted kitchen and a beamed living room with FreeSat TV & DVD player and an electric fire. This property also has unlimited WiFi included. Oil-fired central heating throughout, at extra cost. Outside there are side and rear grassed garden areas with picnic furniture and views of the surrounding fields; lockable bike storage is available.

Providing comfortable accommodation for a couple or a small family, Moelfre Cottage is well-placed for touring Mid and North Wales and offers easy access to local visitor attractions such as the Centre for Alternative Technology and King Arthur's Labyrinth at the Corris Craft Centre. The rural location is also great for walkers with footpaths from the door. The southern Snowdonia National Park and the popular beaches at Aberdyfi and Tywyn or Borth and Ynyslas, either side of the beautiful Dyfi estuary, are all within about a half hour's drive away.
