Property code: OC-BOW10

Located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with a path leading down to the beach, this peaceful cottage provides larger families or groups of friends with a secluded hideaway in the Llyn Peninsula. Sleeping six people across four bedrooms, this remote property is the ideal place to switch off and forget all the stresses of daily life.

Leave your walking gear at the door and be welcomed into the cosy open-plan living space; an ideal spot to unwind with a crisp glass of white and rest your aching feet upon the reclining chair. Stoke up the wood burner for those chilly Welsh nights or gather the troops to prepare a family feast, fit for the eight-person dining table. On balmier evenings, throw open the French doors to the patio and let the fresh Welsh air into the property or wander on down the patio where a lawned area and well-manicured plants invite you to curl up with a great book. Along the hall, a king-size bedroom and one twin room invite sleepy heads, while another colourful twin with bunk beds is the perfect area for children. For extra space, head up the cottage-style stairs to find one more double bed. No need to queue for the bathroom either – this cottage comes with two, and is especially handy when soaking those well-walked muscles.

Discover wonderful walking trails on the Wales Coast Path right from your doorstep. If you’ve brought your four-legged friends, then we’re certain they’ll be able to sniff out some gorgeous tracks to lead you on. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, you’re never far from stunning sandy beaches where surf and sunshine can be found. Spend time eating fish and chips by the sea at Morfa Nefyn (0.5 miles) or head 2 miles to Porth Nefyn, where a long sandy bay is backed by imposing slopes and striking headland. For walking enthusiasts, the Yr Eifl mountain range is just 6.5 miles from the property, and gives you a 3-hour looped walk with spectacular sights of the Menai Strait.

Great location, close to beach and great for walks. Interior is a little dated but value for the money compared to others nearby

An excellent country location on the Llyn peninsular. Comfortable property with ample parking outside. Very good for dogs. Beach only a few hundred yards away with The Cliffs Pub serving good beer and food, with a nice little cafe even closer. Cottage at the end of a quiet cul de sac with all other residents/visitors here very friendly

Some outdated furniture, and a few cobwebs but in general very clean. Very well equipped, loads of crockery, even had childrens cutlery. The stairs/ladder to the loft room isnt safe in my opinion, I wouldnt want anyone using them, it would be better used for storage. In a great position for the beach and coastal walks and the beautiful weather certRead moreainly helped make our holiday even more enjoyable. Hide

The cottage was lovely close to the beach in a quiet location. It was clean and tidy. We had a problem with the fire alarm battery which was promptly sorted out by the owner. The description on the website suggests that you can access the beach via a field which is not in fact correct, it is a field width away from the beach but the field has noRead more public access, you have to go via the road., this was not a problem but should be made clear in the description on the website.
