From this detached, sea view holiday cottage Nefyn beach and all the village's amenities are within walking distance. Set within its own large grounds, this delightful cottage also has direct access to the Wales Coastal Path and enjoys some amazing sunsets across the sea. Incredibly cosy, scenic and a great central location to explore the Llyn Peninsula and Snowdonia.
Ensuite double bedroom featuring a lovely Victorian brass/iron bed, built in cupboard with clothes hanging space, dressing table with free standing mirror, wash stand with drawers beneath, bedside drawer units with bedside lamps. The ensuite includes a double size shower, marble free standing wash bowl, heated towel rail and contemporary fittings. Beautiful room with sea view.

The upstairs living room includes a kitchen, dining and lounge area. A really lovely, cosy room with amazing sea and mountain views, stunning sunsets and the added bonus of having a welcoming wood / multi fuel stove.
The kitchen / dining area features a beautiful old dresser with antique plates etc and a large pine farmhouse table with 6 pine chairs. Very well equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, 5 ring gas hob, electric fan oven and fridge freezer.
The inviting lounge area includes a large chesterfield sofa and a 3 seater sofa which opens out into a bed. Large pine coffee table, side tables and occasional tables along with a TV and DVD player.
Large enclosed grounds which includes a lawned area, a parking area and steps leading down to the cottage and the patio area. Here you have a wooden table with 4 chairs and 2 benches to relax.
Storage shed in the garden containing BBQ, seat cushions, parasol and some outdoor toys swing ball etc.
As an extended garden to this holiday cottage Nefyn beach can also be accessed via a footpath at the opposite side of the road.

Bwthyn Nefyn is situated within its own large, enclosed grounds. From your holiday cottage Nefyn beach can be accessed via a short footpath (less than 0.5 miles). Also within a 10 minute walk (along the B road that passes immediately behind the cottage) is Nefyn itself - a lovely village of the northern coast of the Llyn Peninsula. Amenities include village shops, pubs and restaurants as well as take-aways, a library, chemist and museum.
Some of the best places to eat in the area include The Ship in Edern (2.5 miles), The Red Lion in Tudweliog (5.5 miles) and Twnti Seafood Restaurant in Rhyd y Clafdy (6 miles). The nearest good pub is Nanhoron Arms in Nefyn itself. Make sure that you also visit Ty Coch Inn – recently voted the 3rd best beach bar in the world. This pub is located on the beach in Porthdinllaen (3 miles) and can be accessed on foot via the famous Morfa Nefyn golf course or along the beach – both beautiful walks.
There are beautiful coastal villages dotted all around the Llyn Peninsula, including Abersoch (12 miles) and Aberdaron (14 miles). The Welsh language and way of life still flourishes and adds to the wonderful charm of the peninsula, which is also a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. It is renowned for its beautiful beaches and water sport and with nearly 100 miles of stunning coastal walks starting from your doorstep, Bwthyn Nefyn is ideally located to make the most of all its great features.
Highly recommended is a visit to nearby Nant Gwrtheyrn, a Welsh Heritage Centre in a magical location with a cafe, private beach etc. Take a boat trip to Bardsey Island, a former site of religious pilgrimage and relax at Plas Glyn-y-Weddw, a magnificent Manor with galleries, beautiful gardens and tea room with sea views. Enjoy some go-karting, ten-pin bowling, archery etc at Glasfryn Parc, take a ride on Ffestiniog Railway, explore Cricieth and Caernarfon Castles and discover the Italian village of Portmeirion. If that's not enough, Snowdonia National Park with all its attractions is also within a short drive.

- Morfa Nefyn – this sandy beach sweeps all the way along the small peninsula to Porthdinllaen. 2.2 miles
- There are many great beaches within a short drive of your cottage.
- Llyn Coastal Path (part of the All Wales Coast Path) can be joined from the doorstep.
- Yr Eifl (The Rivals) – Mountain range including the highest point on the Llyn Peninsula. 4.5 miles in length. 3.5 miles.
- The Nant Gwrtheyrn Walk – a scenic 2-3 hour circular walk around this unique valley. 4.5 miles
- Nefyn and District Golf Club - a famous 26 hole Championship Golf Course, offering two cliff top 18 hole courses set in spectacular coastal scenery. 2.5 miles
- Llanbedrog Riding Stables - Horse-riding lessons etc. Beach and hill rides. 9.5 miles
