Pen-Llwyn-Teg Longhouse is a low stone building, to the front of the owners’ restored farmhouse, in a peaceful rural location just outside the southern edge of the Brecon Beacons, within easy reach of Swansea and the South Wales coast. The longhouse has been converted into three holiday cottages, each with an enclosed patio area to the front and a shared parking area.
Barn 1 – with a painted Sheep face above the door – is a compact cottage which will suit a couple or small family. There are electric panel heaters throughout.
Barn 1 can be booked for family groups in conjuntion with Barn 2 (WAY225 - sleeps 6) and Barn 3 (WAY226 - sleeps 2). No single sex groups and the properties are not suitable for all adult groups.

Living Room: with corner sofa and tub chair, Freeview TV and coffee table; dining table and four chairs; kitchen trolley; neatly fitted Kitchen area with electric cooker, microwave and fridge freezer
Shower Room: on the ground floor, with shower cubicle, wash basin, WC, extractor fan, heated towel rail
First Floor: landing area with chest of drawers for bedroom two
Bedroom 1: double bedroom with wardrobe, chest of drawers and easy chair
Bedroom 2: compact bedroom with two 2’ 6” single beds
The bedrooms have sloping ceilings and some limited headroom to one side
Outside: Enclosed gravel and patio courtyard to the front with garden table and benches, under the large porch; shared Utility area at the end of the building, with coin-operated washing machine and coin-operated tumble dryer; shared field to the front of the property and footpaths from the door
Parking: ample parking on the shared parking area to the front of the building
This is an ideal location for visiting the Brecon Beacons, and the South Wales coastline. Excellent walking in the area, nearby waterfalls in the Neath Valley, including Aberdulais Tin Works and Waterfalls (National Trust) near Neath, and Henrhyd Falls at Coelbren, famous as a film venue (Batman’s Bat Cave, Dark Knight Rises, Game of Thrones). Plenty of places to visit nearby, including Dan yr Ogof Showcaves, Craig y Nos Country Park, Carreg Cennen Castle. Swansea is just 15 miles away and the long, sandy beach at Aberavon just under 20 miles. For golfers, the Celtic Minor Golf Course is just a mile from the cottage. Mountain Biking at Afan Forest, 18 miles.
