Practically on the beach! Stablau Llangenith is located on a 10 acre farm only a few hundred yards from Llangennith beach on the Gower. This rustic Stablau (Stables) was renovated in the 16th Century and is one of the oldest buildings on Gower. The small village of Llangennith, with a great local pub, a surf shop, a village hall and a church, which hosts the Gower Music Festival in July, is about 1 mile away up the farm lane. An amazing location for a holiday close to one of the best beaches in Wales.

Gower was Britain's first designated 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. The 19-mile long Peninsula comprises some of Wales’ cleanest and most stunning beaches, including Rhossili, where you can enjoy the most spectacular view of the famous Worm’s Head and Llangennith - recognised as one of the premier surf beaches in the UK. Rhossili Bay was also voted Britain's best picnic spot by the Telegraph in 2010 and has been featured on numerous TV programs, including the London 2012 Olympics' Opening Ceremony, Doctor Who and Torchwood.
The are also plenty of indoor activities nearby, including the new £32m Leisure Centre (LC2) in Swansea, offering swimming, water park entertainment and first class sports facilities. Swansea City centre also has an enviable choice of restaurants offering all cuisines and shopping facilities to equal any major city. The city also boasts free access to maritime and industrial museums and art galleries. On the outskirts of the city are delightful parks and miles of countryside and seaside promenade walks.
The closest beach to the cottage is Broughton and Llangenith. and it includes surfboarding, kayaking and kitesurfing hire...0.2 miles.
