The holiday home on the outskirts of Mumbles sleeps four guests and makes an ideal couples’ retreat or base for a small family looking to explore the beautiful coastline surrounding Swansea Bay. Spend your days eating ice creams on the pier in Mumbles, sunbathing at the breathtaking Langland Bay, or stretching your legs on an exhilarating coastal hike. There’s also a lovely woodland walk directly from the rear of the property, which leads you to the impressive Oystermouth Castle.

This home-away-from-home has a contemporary style and relaxing, neutral paintwork. The spacious, open-plan lounge/diner is the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring, curled up in an armchair with a good book or watching a film on the TV/DVD. Enjoy mealtimes together in the pretty dining area, where there’s also a handy hatch through to the kitchen. Completing the ground floor is the sleek kitchen, with all the equipment you need to cook up a storm. Upstairs, two restful bedrooms await – choose from an inviting king-size or a cosy twin. The heart of Mumbles is bursting with Welsh charm, with a fabulous collection of independent shops and eateries showcasing local produce and fresh seafood. If it’s a day at the beach you’re after, the breathtaking Langland Bay with its golden sand and turquoise waters is just 1.5 miles away.

Location was perfect. View of the sea from the back garden, close to amenities but still felt very peaceful and tranquil. Neighbours were very friendly and helpful with local knowledge and tips. House was spacious yet still cosy and welcoming. Only thing to be improved is the weather!!

Lovely place butI think we left it cleaner than we found it Central location which we loved but over grown garden we did think about pulling up weeds but thought that might be not right as its not our place and that might not be appreciated ? Not sure Otherwise lovely x

The property is in an excellent location for exploring Mumbles and Gower. It was like home from home everything you would need was in the property. Will definitely be visiting again
