Description

Daisy Cottage is a traditional stone fronted fisherman's cottage located on the seafront in Mumbles. With direct sea-views over Swansea Bay, Daisy Cottage provides its visitors with a light and bright, comfortable and well-located cottage in which to base themselves whilst exploring all that the area has to offer.

The sandy beaches of Langland, Rotherslade and Caswell Bay can be reached on foot as can the shops, cafes, bars and promenade which leads conveniently to the fabulous Oyster Wharf development overlooking Swansea Bay, Mumbles Pier and the Lifeboat house.

Accommodation

Ground Floor

Kitchen:
Electric hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer and a microwave.

Utility Room: Washing machine.

Hallway: Light and open space with a table and chair and stairs leading to 1st floor.

Lounge/Diner: Two 2-seater sofa's, an armchair, side tables, Smart TV (with access to Netflix) and gas fire. The dining room has a book shelf and a table and chairs for six people.

First Floor

Bedroom 2:
2 x single beds and a single wardrobe with drawers.

Family Shower Room: Shower, WC and basin.

Cloakroom: WC and basin.

Master Bedroom: Light-filled room with king sized bed, armchair, chest of drawers, wardrobe and a small sofa bed which is suitable for 1 person.

External: Small garden to the front with a side entrance to the Cottage. To the rear there is a large garden made up of patio and lawn with off-road parking for 2 cars.

**Please note** This cottage is located on Mumbles Road where the volumes of traffic can vary.

Sleeps 4/5: 1 King, 1 Twin, 1 Sofa bed in master bedroom (child only)

Reviews

Daisy Cottage was bright and cheerful and ideally situated for visiting Mumbles and the local beaches at Langland Bay. There was some traffic noise as it is on the main road into Swansea , but this was pointed out in the description , and would not deter us from booking it again. The garden is mature and well maintained, and the private parking for two cars was an added attraction as we were a family of two households

Daisy Cottage is in a fabulous location, overlooking the bay and so convenient for the town of Mumbles. The promenade walk is literally across the road, allowing great opportunity for daily exercise if desired. The property is close to the road which is quite busy and whilst there is traffic noise it did not cause us any problem at all. The cottage is very well equipped and had everything we required for our one week stay. It was clean and tidy and well presented. The decoration and furnishings put you in the holiday mood right from the start. For the two of us, we found it particularly spacious and the facilities were very much as described. On the few cool and wet days of our stay the cottage was nicely warmed by the efficient boiler providing a cosy environment. Outside and to the rear is a nice garden area leading up to the car parking spot. It's a fairly private area and is nice for sitting out after a day's walk along the coast path. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Daisy Cottage, and would happily stay there again and will recommend to others.
