Description
This fisherman's cottage has been lovingly restored whilst retaining much of its original character. Situated at the top of the very old part of Mumbles village, the cottage offers high quality holiday accommodation.
Within easy reach are the pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops of Mumbles including the popular seafront cafe Verdi's, and Joe's Ice Cream Parlour. Also close by are the beaches of Langland Bay and Caswell Bay, tennis courts, crazy golf and the promenade that stretches all the way from Mumbles Pier to Swansea Marina.
Accommodation
Ground Floor
Reception: Open plan lounge/diner with two x 2-seater sofas, wood burner, flatscreen TV, DVD player, dining table and chairs for 4. French doors lead out to the tiered garden.
Kitchen: Dishwasher, fridge and electric oven with gas hob. There is a washing machine and separate freezer in the external utility room.
First Floor
Bedroom 1: King size bed with wardrobe, bedside tables and dressing table.
Bedroom 2: 2 x single beds, dressing table with mirror.
Bathroom: Shower cubicle, basin and WC (please be aware that there is a step down directly from the bathroom to the landing).
Second Floor
Attic Room: Relaxation room with TV (DVD only) and soft seating.
External: There is a small garden to the front with table and chairs for 2 to enjoy the lovely sea view. The pretty rear garden is terraced. From here steep steps lead up to a raised area with further seating. Children must be supervised when using the upper part of the garden which is also not suitable for people with limited mobility.
Utility Room: Washing machine, storage area, WC and hand basin in an exterior utility room, accessed from the lounge, via steps that lead to the garden.
