This pretty, family-friendly seaside cottage with a large, enclosed garden is in the perfect spot to enjoy Mumbles and the stunning beaches on the Gower peninsula. It’s close to the promenade, which runs between Swansea and the Mumbles, and has plenty of space for a group looking for the ideal seaside retreat.

Light and spacious throughout, the cottage has been beautifully decorated in relaxing tones with a fun nautical theme in the bedrooms to create a home from home. Curl up on the comfy leather sofas in front of the TV or a film in the bright living/dining room with a coal effect electric fire, dining table and chairs and patio doors to the garden. You’ll find everything you need in the kitchen with all mod appliances. There are two bedrooms on the first floor, both king-size rooms, one has south-facing windows and the other overlooks the garden. The family bathroom is also on his floor. The third bedroom, a welcoming twin room, is on the second floor. Outside is a gorgeous, enclosed garden with a patio and decked area to sit in with your morning coffee or evening tipple.

Wander along the promenade any time of day to visit the myriad cafes, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants, ice cream parlour, fish and chip shops, seafood hut, and bars from 150 metres away. For family fun, there’s crazy golf (0.5 miles) and footgolf (2 miles). Wander on Swansea Bay beach when the tide’s out or paddleboard when it’s in. Visit the amazing local beaches, including 3 miles of sand at Rhossili (16 miles), Oxwich Bay 9.5 miles), which is a great spot for water sports and sheltered Three Cliffs (7 miles). Nearby there are stunning bays too at Langland Bay (1 mile), Rotherslade (1 mile) and Limeslade (1.5 miles).

The only thing to improve would be putting a pint of milk in the fridge prior to us arriving. After a 5 hour drive, a cup of tea would have been very gratefully received. It might sound trivial but a small welcome pack goes a very long way!!

Non-refundable breakages deposit of 50 is simply a surcharge and a dishonest levy on your part.I broke nothing. I am angry at this extortion. Feel free to use this on your website.

An excellent property and lovely situation - but the parking was a nightmare (though we had been warned about this). Possibly not suitable for older people with moblity problems.
