Head to the popular resort of Mumbles on the Gower Peninsula and enjoy everything this coastal town has to offer from the doorstep of this modern, stylish second-floor apartment. Beaches, castles, coastal walks and wildlife are just a handful of things that make up this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and this is the perfect base for a small family or group of four to return to, with stunning views across Mumbles and the golden sands of Swansea Bay.

The open-plan layout of the kitchen, living and dining area offers a lovely sociable space for you all to relax in. The skylights in the sloping ceiling let lots of light in creating a soft, airy environment which marries beautifully with the contemporary furnishings. The well-fitted kitchen is kitted out with everything you need to cook lovely meals which can be served at the cosy dining table. The lovely large corner sofa and armchair provides a lovely spot to stretch out and rest after long days out adventuring. Pick from two king-size bedrooms, one of which has an ensuite shower room, and the other can be made into a twin room with its handy zip-and-link beds. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath and a separate shower cubicle too.

Take a walk into Mumbles and sample the local ice cream parlours, cafes and restaurants before exploring the bustling town centre with its shops, boutiques and galleries. The Gower coastline path, which is easily explored by foot, leads to the likes of Langland Bay (1 mile) where you will find a bustling promenade and world-class surfing beach. Oystermouth Castle (0.5 miles) and the Victorian Mumbles Pier (2 miles) can satisfy those history buffs whilst the beach bums will love days spent on the iconic Rhossili Bay (16 miles) and Three Cliffs Bay (7.5 miles).

The Exchange is a lovely property, slightly worn/dated in parts, but very clean and comfortable. The location is fantastic - a short walk to some really beautiful coast. The kitchen is well equipped and functional, and the shower is incredible. Great stay!

I have based answers on the price we paid for the cottage which was relatively cheap compared with other properties in the same area. The only real issue we had was that we felt the bathroom could do with some tlc.

A nice cosy little house in a friendly village with many scenic walks right from the doorstep. The pub opposite the house is very welcoming & pleasant. The garden is properly enclosed & thus perfect for a dog.
