Embrace open-plan living in this cosy cottage situated in a lovely seaside village, a perfect option for couples or small families looking for a break beside the coast. From the sandy beach of Port Eynon, you can join a stretch of the Gower Coastal Path which passes through Longole Nature Reserve, where you’re sure to see an array of fascinating wildlife.

Upon entering the property, you’re greeted by the open-plan living room/kitchen/diner, which is filled with neutral tones and nods to the seaside location in which the cottage sits. Two leather sofas offer a place to rest your feet whilst you watch a film on the TV by the warmth of the electric flame-effect fire, whilst the wooden table for four is a great setting for a meal cooked up in the stylish kitchen. On the first floor, you’ll find two bedrooms, a king-size with a fantastic en-suite bathroom, and a twin room enjoying an en-suite shower. Both rooms feature natural wood furniture and hues of blue throughout creating a calming space to sleep. To the rear, there is a fully secure, level garden with a patio and lawned area complete with garden furniture.

Just 4 miles away lies the woodland of Oxwich, featuring a patchwork of terrains from salt marshes to dunes, making for a very diverse habitat for local wildlife and a wonderful place to walk for all the family. Spend a day at Rhossili Bay, a 7-mile walk along the coast path, or a 6-mile drive, to drink in the panoramic views looking out towards Worm’s Head and Rhossili Down for a true taste of the coast. Here, you can sprawl out and relax on the soft sands or head out into the water where the smaller waves are perfectly suited to beginner surfers or swimmers.

Property was clean and well presented. However, the sofas were not at all comfortable and there were no cushions to assist. The garden furniture was lacking lounging chairs and an occasional table. The bathrooms lacked soap dishes/ shampoo holders in the showers. There was only one bathsheet-size towel. Jitu and his wife were delightful and very heRead morelpful and we greatly enjoyed our stay. Excellent central village location 2 minutes from the beach, but also really peaceful. The property was fitted out to a really high standard and was immaculate, it felt like we were the first people to stay there. Sainsburys delivered no problem and plenty of space for family of 4. There's only 2 very minor things I would change: include a decentRead more broom in the cottage - we were bringing a small amount of sand in when coming back from the beach and the only brush was tiny. And the landline uses the internet so if you're relying on this for some communications (our mobile reception was poor for our network) then it would cut out now and again. Those are literally the only things I could fault, everything else was absolutely spot on. Hide
