Take a break by the Welsh coast with a stay in this charming cottage, well suited to small families or couples with dogs. Walk half a mile and you’ll find the sands of Port Eynon and Horton, both offering a relaxing day out beside the sea with stunning scenery all around. Back at home, the property is neutrally furnished with plenty of home comforts so that you can enjoy rest and relaxation.

The heart of the home is the open-plan living room/kitchen diner which is filled with natural light from the sliding doors and a window over the kitchen counter. Located in the cosiest corner of the space are two comfortable leather sofas with a TV and rustic flame-effect electric fire creating a wonderful place to gather. At mealtimes, the modern kitchen has everything you’ll need to fix up a feast, located just a few steps away from the natural wood dining table seating four. Upstairs on the first floor is a king-size bedroom, tastefully furnished with built-in wardrobes and a dressing table, whilst also enjoying the luxury of an en-suite bathroom. Next door is a twin room, ideal for children. This room also boasts an en-suite shower room offering additional privacy. At the back of the property is a lovely garden which has a small lawned area, a patio and seating for evenings spent dining alfresco.

Be sure to make the most of the incredible location of this property by taking a trail on the Wales Coast Path; there is a moderately challenging 7-mile walk along to Rhossili Bay which is well worth a day trip with panoramic viewpoints and picnic spots aplenty. The only fault would be the windows, particularly the french windows wanted cleaning, they were very dirty with hand marks and what I would expect would be dog nose prints. The curtains around the same door were also filthy and wanted a good clean. Only other remark would be helpful if a sign for the cottages was placed at the end of the driveway Read moreas Sat Nav of course only takes you to a postcode and it was very difficult and tiresome (after a 5 hour drive) to find our way in despite good written directions, we went around in circles for around 20 mins before getting out on foot to locate where to actually find the front door and parking. The holiday cottage was really lovely and in the most perfect location. Only small problem was the downstairs toilet wasnt working - but the owner fixed it really quickly and it didnt cause us a problem at all. Could have done with a few more towels but again it wasnt a big problem. The lock wasnt working on one of the bathrooms upstairs either butRead more again didnt cause us a problem. We would definitely stay here again!! Hide

It would have been helpful to have been told that Wifi and phone signal were very poor so that we could have told family & friends before we went.
