Property code: OC-HH648

A charming bolthole for two in the heart of the Gower Peninsula and surrounded by spectacular coastal scenery, this pretty annexe offers both comfort and convenience for couples in search of a holiday with the seaside and the city within easy reach. For those hoping to take in the scenery on foot, the Gower Coast Path runs close to the property and there are several routes to explore, offering breathtaking scenery along the way.

Small but perfectly formed with comfort in mind, settle into the welcoming lounge for an evening in front of the TV with the electric fire on during the cooler months – or perhaps use the space to enjoy a warming cuppa before heading out into town for a meal? The kitchen is bright, spacious and well-equipped, and has French doors leading to the patio. A single-storey property, on this level you’ll also find a bathroom and well-appointed bedroom. Outside, the large patio with a dining set is the perfect spot to enjoy a sundowner.

For plenty of outdoor activities, strike out on foot and explore the Gower’s scenic locale. Bishopston is the largest village within the peninsula and presents plenty of outdoor activities and relaxing pursuits. Perfectly placed within 6 miles of the city of Swansea and just 3 miles from the bustling seaside village of Mumbles, you can take your pick of both kinds of entertainment. If you wish to explore the area on foot, the Gower Coast Path can be picked up nearby, with the Bishopston Valley walk being a well-trodden path within spectacular scenery.

A nice little house in a quiet location. Owners were very friendly and helpful. No significant faults with the property. Parking was handy especially as parking in the Mumbles village was ludicrously expensive even at night.

The cottage is delightful and perfect for a couple (or singleton). The owners are so friendly and helpful and the area is great for access to the Mumbles and central Swansea. We had a lovely relaxing break. Highly recommended
