Built in 2005, this annexe (located in the grounds of the main house) offers very comfortable accommodation for 2 people. Well-located in the village of Bishopston it offers easy access to Gower, Mumbles and the nearby beaches. The annexe is just a 20 minute walk through Bishop's Wood nature reserve to Caswell Bay, and a 25 minute walk to the secluded Brandy Cove or beautiful Pwll Du.

Bishopston has 3 pubs all serving good quality food and real ales - the fully refurbished Plough and Harrow in particular provides contemporary fine dining. The village also has a supermarket, and a surf shop where surf equipment can be hired.

Lounge: Two 2-seat leather sofas, flatscreen TV and DVD player and a CD player Fire (decorative purpose only).

We stayed in the Annex for a week with our puppy. All the beaches are within a short drive, some within walking distance. The cottage was spotless when we arrived and the owner very friendly, but keen to give you your privacy. There are 3 pubs within walking distance, although one does not always serve food, and a Co-op store 10 minutes walk. Highly recommended.

Mr T,

Rhiannon the home owner was very friendly and helpful. The annexe is more like a one bedroom bungalow, it is very bright and airy. We would love to go back and stay there!!

Mrs P,

Spacious clean and comfortable flat for a couple, in a good location for exploring the nearby coast, beaches and across the beautiful Gower peninsula.

Mr G,

This was the perfect property for us! We were a couple and our dog wanting to be close to Mumbles, The Gower walks, and Bishopston. It had everything we needed including a little enclosed garden. The bonuses were a really comfy bed and linen and a parking space! Thank you!

Miss T,

We really enjoyed our stay at The Annex at 53. The property was very clean comfortable and covid safe, everything you needed was provided. In walking distance to 3 pubs, which all served food. Easy to get to all locations in the Gower. Lovely coastal walks. Oxwich is a brilliant bay with sand dunes and a great sandy beach. Everything went smoothly, from booking, to arriving and leaving, we were kept updated by e mail and text messages. We would definitely recommend The Annex and wouldn't hesitate in returning if we visit the area again.

Mrs E,
