The School House overlooks Three Cliffs Bay. A quiet location, away from the road and backing onto the National Trust land of Cefn Bryn. The setting is ideal for walkers with 'The Gower Way' only from a short stroll from the property, which offers walkers stunning panoramic views of Gower and beyond. There are other footpaths directly outside the property.
Both Mulberry Hill Cottage and The School House are located in a landscaped Victorian garden which guests are welcome to use; the same goes for the Victorian gazebo which has stunning views down into Three Cliffs Bay.
The School House
The School House is an annexe to the main house of Mulberry Hill. As the name suggests the school house was where the children of the main house once had lessons.
The bedroom on the first floor is the old Victorian school room and from the 2 arm chairs you can enjoy views of Three Cliffs Bay and Cefn Bryn.
**NOTE** Because of the narrow stairs leading up to the bedroom and down to the shower room, further steps in the garden and an unprotected garden pond, the property is not suitable for children/infants or anyone with limited mobility.
Open plan kitchen/diner/reception.
Reception: 2-seat sofa, TV with built in DVD player and electric fire.
Kitchen/Diner: Table and chairs, electric cooker, microwave, free standing fridge & Freezer, dishwasher and mini Hifi.
Bathroom: Shower cubicle, bath, WC and basin. Please note this bathroom is accessed via 15 steps down from the bathroom.
Bedroom: Double bed, TV, chest of drawers and 2 armchairs with small coffee table.
External: Patio area directly outside of The School House with garden furniture and shared garden. Unrestricted parking just outside boundary wall. Owners asked to keep dogs on a lead in the garden
Laundry facilities available from owner on request.
Sleeps 2: 1 Double
C/O day - Sat. Oil CH. Bed linen & towels provided. WiFi (WiFi speed is not fast but it is available in the shared gazebo). 1st October- 30 April £10 heating supplement. Parking close by. Pet accepted. No children/infants. No smoking
This cottage is charming with very high quality furnishing, pretty garden to share and quiet setting. You do need to be without mobility issues as there are many steps.
Quite an unusual setup but provided you are able to negotiate the 12 + 15 steps up and down to the bathroom it's a spectacular location where you can watch the tide coming and going below in Three Cliffs Bay. There is WiFi but very patchy. Great location for accessing the entire peninsular. It's possible to leave the car and walk down as far as Oxwich or climb up onto the Gower Way with 360 degree views.
Fabulous location with views over to 3 Cliffs Bay. Very comfortable bed and spacious bedroom. Owners very friendly and suggested a few places to visit. Would definitely recommend.
A delightful, quirky property in a splendid location, with stunning views from the first floor. The hosts were kind and knowledgeable about the area and the history of the house.
